Singer/dancer Chris Brown and his attorney Mark Geragos are pictured entering the Los Angeles courthouse for Brown’s probation progress hearing on over the weekend in Los Angeles, California.
Brown pleaded guilty to assaulting his then-girlfriend, singer Rihanna, after a pre-Grammy Awards party in 2009. He has completed his court ordered 180 days of community labor and a year of domestic violence counseling but will still be under probation for another 4 years.
In related news, Brown reportedly asked during the court date that his 100 yard restraining order against Rihanna be relaxed so they both could attend the Grammy’s.
Breezy’s rep, Tammy Brook said: “This court date and the lifting of the restraining order is part of the planned ongoing legal proceedings. The date was scheduled months ago. Chris Brown is very thankful for his Grammy nominations, but due to scheduling conflicts, he will not be attending the Grammys.”
I just want to know what the scheduling conflict was…seems like Hollywood banter for we didn’t get the deal that we wanted. I mean, the kid got 3 Grammy nominations, isn’t that like way more than he’s ever gotten in one year alone? of course this is the show he’ll want to attend even if he doesn’t win.

Chris is amazing two years on and his strong as ever. his has got that light back in his eyes. He’s done this done all by himself and the help of his fans. doing well in the charts, his song in the UK has jumped extremely well. radio stations have are playing his songs. This wasn’t possible back then. He is a champion.He’s F.A.M.E tour is going worldwide. He’s an artist and his music shouldn’t be blackballed and he has every right to attend award shows.

Sorry but the whole restraining order thing has nothing to do with Award Shows. It’s all about getting in contact with Rihanna, especially since she’s not with Matt Kemp anymore. If it wasn’t they could of easily asked for the order to be altered to let space between them at award shows be decreased to a smaller minimum, instead of dropping the entire order.
I wish they let him call the girl and get it over with.

I think people fail to recall that she didn’t want the restraining order to begin with- it was something the courts pretty much put into place. I am pretty sure that both parties are over the unfortunate incident and are just wanting to move along w their careers at this point. It’s funny how the court is holding on to something that the actual victim did not petition or desire.
Chris worked hard, he deserves to go to the Grammys! They could of least had him sit in a seperate area from Rihanna. On a positive note the good thing is he got nominated, big up to you CHRIS!
