Mary Harvey, the second former wife of New York Times’ Best Seller author, Steve Harvey, has dished out a series of videos, as a means of finding closure to her divorce from the Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man author/comedian, Steve Harvey. In the videos, Mary talked about how she and Steve met as well as details about how she found out about his affair with his current wife, Marjorie:

“There was a package that had come to the apartment. It was really supposed to go to our office, but somehow it made it’s way to the building and the man gave it to me. The instant that I saw it, it had confidential scrawled all across the top of that envelope and I don’t know, something just fell apart inside of me. So I stopped my hair dresser, took a break, I opened the package and I started to read this letter that was from this woman and she really started to go into detail about how long she had actually been in a relationship w/ my husband…When I first started to become aware that there were other people involved in my marriage, it was really hurtful to me because my marriage represented so much to me. It was my life. My children, my marriage, the fact that Steve and I literally came from nothing…I had worked hard. I had given it my all up to that point, to help make him successful.”

Later in the second video, Mary described the first time she confronted Marjorie, his current wife and how Steve left Mary with nothing. Literally. Mary also mentions how the responsorial book to Steve Harvey’s relationship books, Why Do I Have To Think Like A Man: How To Think Like A Lady And Still Get The Man by Shanae Hall and Rhonda Frost (purchase here), has helped her get through her situation and change her perspective on relationships.
