Kelly Pitts played by Brittany Daniels will unfortunately be not-so-regular. I’m happy Halle’s not going to play Aretha. That would look crazy as hell. I don’t want to see no damn show about Wacka and Gucci. They would set black people back at least 10 years. Also I like Meagan good but I love the Kelly Pitts character. I don’t know how thats going to work out. I mean Meagan’s character is really just that of a cheating wife. What more can they do with her?

I saw the interview and Halle did not give a definite no. She said she could do the acting if the found someone to do the singing. But honestely I do not think Halle wants to play the part.

J. Hud would be a natural choice but for her own career I don’t want her to get type cast as an actor for singing roles. I would like to see Sanaa Lathan play a role like that and let her lip sing to the original Aretha music.

As for the game I hope they are reading this. Megan good did a great job last week, but reducing Britney to a non-regular role will not work. I think it would be a bad move if BET took out Brittany DANIEL (not Kennedy..) who plays Kelly Pitts. I think she is a crucial part of the whole The Game story. Honestly, I think Meagan Good is a bit overrated. I don’t see why she got “rave reviews” for her role. How far do you think they can take the “cheating wife” storyline? I love the Kelly Pitts character but I don’t think its BET choice, I think Brittany Daniel is choosing to leave because she probably has movie offers or better deals for other shows. I definitely think it is Brittany’s choice and they all knew from the beginning but worked it out so she could do some episodes to close out the character.

I just don’t believe BET essentially replaced Brittany Daniels with Meagan Good. I knew they were going to do something stupid. Kelly was, is, and will always be a key character on the show. Meagan is just a cheating wife….ummm. Make Brittany a star again and Meagan a recurring. Think about it: When Malik gets done with her, there will be no need for her character anymore.

I think Jill Scott would actually do well playing Aretha. She probably only wanted Halle for promotional reasons. Halle has cross over appeal and the movie may have garnered a larger audience than Jennifer Hudson could bring in.

The Game has to evolve once the character of Kelly Pitts is divorced there really isn’t much of a story line for her role so bringing in Megan Goode will allow them to develop a new character, it just might work.

She’s not married or interacting with any of the teams players and she’s no longer in charge of the Sunbeams! AGREED. Kelly was NEVER the star of the show. I mean, dam, can we at least get to the second episode before we start sending the show down the creek. Why, because of her size? There’s more that goes into a character besides physical appearance. The best biographic roles to date have been portrayed by actors that looked nothing like the real person, but they were able to capture that person’s essence in one way or another.

That Brit-Brat character is the WRONG direction. She appears to be at an age where she’s acting out now, especially because of the nasty divorce battle between her parents, but since Kelly’s role is limited this season, I can’t for the life of me understand why they would open up a can of worms with Brit Brat going into her teen yrs.

GIVE THE ARETHA FRANKIN ROLE TO MARY J BLIGE, PLEASE! I love J-Hud as much as the next person, but Mary’s voice has that gritty essence that I believe will do the character justice. By the way, Mary is loooooooong over due for a break-out role anyway. I love her so much, I want her to take her career to the next level and I don’t care that I sound a bit biased, lol! Halle is too “glamour girl” for this role.
As far as Kelly Pitts only having 6 episodes on The Game, I’m not happy about that either. I don’t get this stupid storyline the writers keep going back/forth with for Mel and Derwin, Tasha’s ghetto-fied role is becoming too much and to be quite honest since day one, Kelly was MY favorite character from the moment she stepped in and took over that previous stepford-type wife they had in the beginning. Meagan’s character is “interesting”, to say the least.

Her acting isn’t great, and she plays the same roles all the time. I’m trying to give the show a chance but I think by the time they get to season five I won’t be interested.

I’ve read that Brittany’s character will be around for 6 episodes…she could have declined being that they cut her character, but because she loves the show, have become friends the cast she didnt feel that it would transition over well with another actress playing her…ummm look at the little girl..uhh excuse me, the 21yr old they have playing Jason and Kelly’s daughter. I dont like her new character, but I really did like the old character. They can bring her back later as a lady that “realized” the reality show life isnt for her, so she went back to old Kelly and wants to work it out with Jason..
Jennifer Hudson should definitely play Aretha Franklin! Fantasia is a BIG NO in my opinion, she can definitely sing, but I WOULD NEVER PICK HER to play Aretha…She looks nothing like her, sounds nothing like her, and she acts nothing like her! People can say what they want, but this role is made for Jennifer Hudson, just as Ray was made for Jamie Foxx (just watch)!
They have to keep Kelly and maybe let her hook up with Malik, wow that would be something w/Tasha being his mom and her friend and the Jason connection. Or have her to date another new star. I liked Stacey Dash and Jason together, they need to keep that going. This show needs to last an hour, because you get a headache waiting all week for it to come on and make sure you are done for the night to settle down in time for the show and its over so quick. I think Queen Latifa would be a great choice for Aretha Franklin and may be her breakout role. She would be a more realistic choice. Think Aretha must be fantasizing that she could look like Halle in body, I guess, because Dnt think Halle would be believable for the role, she would have to gain too much weight for Aretha’s later years and think Halle was like no maam, not doing that. Jennifer Hudson and Fantasia yells too much. I liked Jennifer’s singing much better on American Idol, she can sing but the yelling overshadows the talent in my opinion. Dnt know why black artist keep doing that, just sing the tune smooth and pretty already.

We all know that the majority of black athletes, like, date and marry white women so I think she (Brittany Daniels) should stay.
