I saw many problems we as society are faced within this video: Sickness—AIDS—CANCER
Racism: The way the old lady, the young man, possibly the cop? looks at her/them.
Death—-the guy pushing the girl away constantly. The grave. The anniversary date of his death
where did you get AIDS and cancer and racism from? The old lady man and cop were looking at her crazy because she was talking ang hugging herself. Has nothing to do with race. I dont see anything that leads to AIDs either. He looks sick in the pic at the end but does that mean AIDS? I’m confused

Interpret it as you may, but you’re both wrong. I have to agree with WELFARECASE on this. Race has nothing to do with video. Just listen to the song lyrics and you’d be able to figure that out. As for the ending, you must know nothing of medicine to state that he certainly has AIDs. While you can’t say for certain that he has cancer, his death and hair loss in the picture suggest it. Hair loss is a result of chemotherapy treatment, FYI. However, you can say for certainty that he did not die of AIDs. HIV/AIDs vaccines and medications have raised the survival rate of diagnosed patients to over 35 years of age to about 90%. Plus, AIDs dosen’t cause your hair to fall out. So cut your bullshit.

Very sad video, definitely wasn’t expecting what happened to him. I thought he was cheating on her and the guy at the car recognized him because he was seeing his sister or something.
I feel like the video would have made more sense if the introduction didn’t say it depicted a “global issue.” That leads the viewer to believe this is going to be about some type of social problem, rather than death (caused by an unknown illness) and loss. I enjoyed the video for the most part. It’s nice to see a storyline anyway.

I think it was cancer. I think he was always looking like that because he was trying to get her to let go. She was acting needy because she didn’t want to let go that was the only piece of him she had left. I was kinda thinking about that downlow thing too until the end. First I thought he was sneaking out to cheat when he snuck out of bed.Then I thought that was the guys secret lover staring at them until I realized he was only seeing her holding an invisible hand so he was staring bc it was weird.
