HOT OR NOT: LADY GAGA – “BORN THIS WAY”

♫ Lady Gaga – Born This Way

After what some may considered a break while she’s still been touring, Lady Gaga delivers her new single as promised from her upcoming third album, Born This Way. The debut single, of the same title, is produced by Fernando Garibay, with whom Gaga has collaborated with in the past. Born This Way will hit stores sometime in May.

Why does this give me Kelly Rowland – When Love Takes Over?

Somewhere in a retirement home, Madonna is listening to the radio and thinking that her song is popular again.

    • Real Talk

It’s the 80′s all over again

    • SMDH

Madonna has a new album coming out this year and tour & will be successful, she is nowhere near retiring. But I can see what you said and I agree.

Yes this screams express yourself. And every 80s gay club, Ymca, I’m coming out. Its sad these artists are trying live off us gays, I remember 4 years ago when I used to listen to benny benassi ‘ satisfaction’ and to everyone else it was a NO-NO. And now look at the state of popular music now. Smh I just hope lady gaga isn’t releasing a bunch of gay empowerment anthems and then pretend like this is her invention.this is nothing new and the line”don’t be a drag, just be a queen” where is the creativity? Stop trying too be a hag and pass it of as an epic song or movement with a message

The production for this song DOPE!!! It will be interesting to see what Lady Gaga does for the video

Isn’t it? The remix that was played on her Paris tour knocks this waaaaayyyyy to the left though. I like this but she should’ve pushed that joint.

  4. Kandi

    no thanks, i’ll pass.

  5. kntmusiclover

this sounds Like Madonna’s Respect Yourself…she really is just Madonna repacked for this current generation with a dash of Elton John and Cher

  6. saliv

It’s a rip of ‘express yourself.’ Gaga is trying so hard to achieve the head witch role from Madonna. I’m shocked she has any soul left in her eyes.

  7. Phuck Steve Harvey!

HOLD UP! Lady Gaga on Concrete Loop an Urban/Black Blog…When the money is GOOD the money is GOOD!

  8. Dude-N-Htown

Loves it….pretty positive song. I wanna see the video

  9. Cotten Kandi

    Hot Record.

It’s no different from the pop songs already on the radio but still a pretty good song nonetheless.

Sorry that sucked balls & she’s not black so why is she on a black gossip site?? WATCH___> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FZTfzMzW1r0

EXPRESS YOURSELF BY MADONNA REMIXED IN 2011 = BORN THIS WAY. SHE IS USING THE LGBT COMMUNITY TO BE ICONIC AND SELL. SMH. THEY HYPE UP THIS WOMAN WAYYYYYYYYYYY TOOOOOOOOO MUCHHHHHHHHHHHH TWITTER IS GOING CRAZY. NOBODY ELSE DOING DANCE MUSIC NOW BEATS MUSICALLY STYLISTICALLY KELIS’S LAST ALBUM WHICH IS ORIGINAL. TOO BAD SHE REFUSES TO BE A SELLOUT AND COMMERCIAL. TOO BAD.

    • MellD

AGREE. Gaga is a sell-out and pushes products and capitalism in general more than any other entertainer out there. It is quite disgusting. On top of that, one cannot declare their own song a LGBT anthem- how arrogant. Songs become anthems for certain communities based on that community identifying with it, not because some pop singer simply decides it so. Cliched and shitty song, but it will become popular because folks are fools.

  12. JLoLover

Who ever compares this to Bad Romance should be slapped. That song was a legend, this song is just plain and OKAY not amazing.

LETS SUPPORT JLOve? ON THE FLOOR ON ITUNES FEBRUARY 22!

  13. Diamond Latrelle

Not feeling this song. Lady Gaga had better songs on her first album

  14. SAYWUTNAW

This was not worth the hype it was given but white gays will love it and it will be number 1 anyways. I appreciate her trying to have a message and supporting her gay fans but this is overdone.

  15. welfarecase

I like it!!!! It has a message and you can dance to it!! I cant wait to see the video. Oh and im not gay btw

  16. Mindstarter

Wayyy too much hype for an alright song. If this is her first single then I dont wanna hear the rest of the albumn..but then again you never know..

  17. getgot

I never been a Gaga fan…her music sounds so recycled.

  18. BENJAMIN

It has to grow on me I guess, kinda the same way Bad Romance did. It does scream Madonna though. I’ll see how she plays it off at the Grammys.

  19. ait

this artists telling people that being gay is a gud thing are so against god, the devil has given gaga success bcos he knew that she could lead people astray from the word of god, and its working, if people only knew that hell aint a joke

  20. truthfullyspeaking

Whoever likes this song must really stan for Gaga because this is awful. When I first heard this song, I started LMMAO! It’s so wack and dated. Wow, I never liked Gaga or her music, but I must admit that singles such as “Poker Face,” “Teeth,” “Love Game,” and “Boys, Boys, Boys” were all hot, because of the production, melodies, and effects, but this right here just sounds so corny. I can’t believe it’s already number 1 on the Itunes chart. That’s only because of hype and it’s a shame that people will hurry up and go support something just because of a gimmick. This single will be one of those singles that do very good the first week, but then decline because the majority of the people who liked it, already bought it that one week. That’s what happened to Britney Spears. Her “Hold it Against Me” will be out of the Top 10 only after 3 weeks of being in there next week.

    • She is a star

Truthfullyspeaking, haters gets more pleasure with someone failures than success. Lady Gaga is an amazing artist. People like yourself is not going to buy anyone music, even the one that you respect.

  21. NoNoNo

Ok, first things first, the song, like all the overly camp gay men that will love it are an embaressment to gay men. It also brings about further stereotyping. The next thing is that the song itself isn’t on point. Her previous songs have been listenable and some i have even liked. But this is to much and its to in your face. I hate the way gay people are expected to be a certain way when most gay men arn’t. She thinks she is accepting the gay community by repaying them for their loyalty with this song, but being 21, living in the gay area of London, Soho, (Yes there is a gay area of London. Lol) and being gay myself, i would really like to inform Gaga that the gay community doesn’t appreciate this asmuch as she wanted to. Although sadly my views don’t represent all gays in the world.

  22. bellavita

well honetly i apreciate what shes doing, tho it may seem like shes just using the lgbt people to sell atleast shes doin something for us. We need to be as mainstreem as we can and for any artis to take that risk i respect, im not a big gaga fan but im proud to say at least sumine is saying something and breaking records with a gay themed song, that deff shows we have power here.
