After 18 years and grossing over $411 million worldwide, Warner Brothers has decided to remake the 1992 romantic, box office hit film The Bodyguard. In the original film, Whitney Houston played a musician who hires Kevin Cosner’s character as her bodyguard. According to reports, the remake will have the same story line, but the bodyguard will be a former Iraq war veteran:

It is irrelevant who will star in this film. The movie is being “re-made” simply to push white male/black female “relationships”. The film is a propaganda piece and was originally supposed to come out in the early ’70′s starring Diana Ross and Steve McQueen, but McQueen thought it was too “controversial” at the time. Just the fact that the casting must have a black female singer and a caucasian male bodyguard should tell those with a brain that the intent of the movie is to push an agenda.
So change it up and do a white female/black male.

Rihanna, I don’t know if she can act and her singing is a little bit on the mediocre side. Jhud, love her great voice and a decent actress, but she pushing Beyonce territory in exposure (that is never good). Beyonce, I love her as well, but her acting is subpar (though she has improved…), however she has the star power to get the attention. But Beyonce is also in talks about starring in…another remake of a remake…or a remake, of the movie a Star Is Born. I don’t think she would do it simply because of how similar these movies are…musicals with big female leads.
