a nice place to meet rich guys, ho t babies, Hollywood cel ebrities, who are searching for their special someone. Are you the one?? Come and have a try !!
Wow, this trailer is mad ooold lol. Alonzo posted it on his twitter sometime last yr.
Looks good =D Love Angela and Loretta!
Hmmmmm – this movie looks like it has the potential to be good. Hopefully – the characters are fully-developed and not just stereotypes. You guys know what I’m talking about.
If it’s released in wide release (not just in major cities) I’ll go to see it as I don’t live in an area that supports independent films.
I know what you are talking about, and I feel the same way. The trailer is at tad bit questionable if you ask me.
this looks hilarious!
This looks like it could be good.
Only my issue is I am getting tired of all these stereotypes that Black women have their standards raised too high. It was in this video clip too. Here is my “boogie high standards” list: He should have a job, not disrespect me, give me TLC, and we should be in love or on the way. I found a man and he doesn’t have everything together but we have love for each other and are trying. I don’t know where the relationship “gurus” and Black tv advisors are getting their information but maybe they need to try a little harder.
I think they have been watching a little too much of “What Chili wants”…
I’ll probably go and see this.
Laz Alonso looks gooddd.
This looks cute. I almost did not recognize Paula Patton for a minute. And Laz Alonso looks absolutely delicious.
I’m glad to see a really great black movie!
looks great, will go see. All movies have stereotypes and all races do as well, get a grip. Here’s the thing about stereotypes; they are based in some sense upon truths. The problem comes in when it hits mainstream and then Whites may or may not view these stereotypes as good or bad or the “norm” for them, then all of a sudden you have blacks who don’t like these so called “stereotypes” because Whites have deemed it “bad.” I have news for you, stop seeking the approval of Whites and how it is OTHERS perceive us and concentrate more on how we perceive each other, then you won’t need to seek the approval of Whites…
Back to the movie. The movie looks great and at times if your expectations aren’t feasible you will have a hard time attracting a decent and stable man. Chilli comes to mind. Her standards are ridiculous. It’s good to have standards, just don’t make them impossible. No one person is perfect…
I’ll pass. Once you’ve seen Soulfood, you’ve seen the rest of them.
The movie looks alright but i don’t see it being #1 @ the box office Hollywood likes stupid all-white-cast romantic-comedy type of films, and action and what not!…But who knows it’s too early to judge but i am just stating what i think about the film.
But not every film can reach to the #1 spot in movies but lets what and see.
i went to a screening of this movie and i enjoyed it. paula over-acted every scene she was in. hope they make some edits to the beginning and the trailer basically shows the whole movie. but i’ll probably take my mom to see it when it come out.
Lawd geezus is that Will Lemay? I’m sold!!
Its pretty weird seeing him talk
LORETTA DEVINE…SAME CHARACHTER AS ALWAYS…I’LL WAIT FOR CABLE
sounds like a knock off of this movie http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KQsoOS-HNH0
but with straight black people….what a coincidence.
LOOKS LIKE A GREAT MOVIE….WITH SOME POSITVITIY, NOT JUST STEREOTYPES! DEFINITELY GOING TO SUPPORT THIS FILM!
