MUSIC NEWS: KERI HILSON EYES THIRD STUDIO ALBUM / THE DREAM PLANS FOR NEW ALBUM / TEYANA TAYLOR’S NEW DEAL?

February 9th, 2011

She just released her sophomore album, No Boys Allowed back in December, but Keri Hilson has already announced that she’s given some thought to what’s going to happen on her third studio LP.

She revealed that she’s already going to hit the studio with Polow Da Don next month.

“I’m actually recording, going back into the studio in March just to see what happens with Polow Da Don,” Keri exclusively told our friends at Rap-Up.com.

“I’ve given it some thought, but I’m definitely not going to rush it. I never want to be in that position, so there’s no date or anything. I’m going pretty deep on the second album, anyway.”

Keri also announced that she plans on hitting the road with her new album in April, with plans on having Jessie J. and Miguel as supporting acts. In the meantime, Keri has been hinted to the Chris Brown-assisted “One Night Stand” as the next single from No Boys Allowed.

THE DREAM PLANS FOR NEW ALBUM

Although he claimed that last year’s Love King was his last album, The Dream revealed that he is working on a fourth studio album and that it should hit stores by this August, meaning a single should be ready by early summer.

“Everybody’s calling for an album now, so I should have one out by August,” he told Quddus on the purple carpet at the premiere of Justin Bieber: Never Say Never.

In addition to working on his new project, The Dream revealed at the premiere of the new 3D Justin Bieber film that he is also penning tracks for the popstar’s upcoming new album. He announced on the purple carpet that he’s been in the studio with Justin, Kanye West, Kevin Cossom and Danja, just to name a few.

TEYANA TAYLOR’S NEW DEAL?

According to Vibe.com, it seems as though Teyana Taylor may have entered a new situation with a new label. In the video above, Taylor beats around the bush with an interviewer and hints at entering a new deal with Kanye West and Jay-Z on his G.O.O.D. Music label, which houses artists like John Legend, Big Sean, Pusha-T, Common and more.

These plans don’t seem far-fetched, seeing as though Taylor lent guest vocals on Kanye’s latest album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy and has also appeared along side Jay-Z in his music video for “Blue Magic.” The relationship is definitely there. Oddly enough though, this leads one to wonder where her relationship stands with Pharrell Williams, considering that she never released an album under his Star Trak Music imprint.

Keri is smart to jump back into the studio. Now days you have to push out CDs like your life depends on it… (Oh wait, it does!)

TheDream is trying to put out another album because he probably knows he’s going to lose the court battle against C.Milli and he’s gonna need to get his cake up.

TeyannaTaylor…. just stop. Become a socialite, get a clothing line & some perfume, and call it a day.

I like Teyana Taylor. Wish her best of luck with her career. She has a nice singing voice, she should put it to great use.

And Im not really anticipating an album from The Dream aka The Nightmare aka Lord Teddygrahams. Him and his tit-tays can have a seat.

And speaking of albums, didnt Keri just release an album? For God sake, an artist is suppose to give themselves chances to grow in between albums. After awhile peoples music is going to start sounding the same…

THE ONLY THING TEYANA IS GOOD FOR IS SUCKING ON MY NUTS!! THIS BIATCH HAS ABSOLUTELY NO TALENT AND FOR KANYE AND JAY Z TO BE GIVING THIS WHORE ANY KIND OF DEAL MAKES YOU WONDER HOW GOOD HER HEAD GAME GOTTA BE. NO WONDER WHY THE MUSIC INDUSTRY IS SH-T RIGHT NOW AND RECORDS AREN’T SELLING. STOP GIVING DEALS TO BIATCHES THAT GIVE GOOD HEAD AND GIVE THE DEAL TO THE ARTIST THAT WILL BE AROUND FOR THE NEXT 40 YEARS.
