I’m sorry but I don’t like this song at all. I keep trying. They play it a lot on the R&B stations here, and I can’t get into it. Unlike everyone else, I think she’s looks horrible in the video too. Her mouth looks long or something, like she has a snout. I don’t know lol, maybe its just me.
I can’t make a judgment on her album until I hear it, hopefully the material is better.

I didn’t plan on watching this because I figured it would be another generic R&B song, but the video started automatically, so I ended up watching anyway. Thanks Concrete Loop. Loves me some JHud, but this song isn’t good enough for her. And You know a song is bad when someone with a voice like Jennifer Hudson’s can’t save it.
I first heard this on Oprah and did not care for it, unsure why as I love her voice, always have. Watching the video, I think its the title and the lyrics…and now the visual.

Fanny could wear this song out and have it FIT her (or my ideal of her) Jennifer, not so much, its a harsh song..not a fan. This song is just okay for me. Her vocals are great on it though and she looks wonderful in the video. I’m happy for her weightloss…She did it for herself. First people complained about her being overweight and how she should be concerned about her health, now people are saying she shouldn’t have lost the weight…smh bunch of confusion. I can’t wait to see what else is coming from her album. I’m always a supporter Jen.

The video made me like the song a little more. I felt like she was able to put more emotion in the video than in the song, where she came off as mainly powerful minus the emotional heartbreak. The video has me thinking about the lyrics,..if her home is looking as bad (i.e. look at the couch) as that video maybe she should stop counting on a man’s promises and make some promises to herself.
