K. Michelle’s music is sorta reminiscement of Keyshia Cole from 05 and 07, but other than that as far as her image and her voice……..there is no comparison. Keyshia Cole isn’t the only chick who wore different color hair, hell, even Lil’ Mo did that. And then K. Michelle’s voice is more clearer and STRONGER than Keyshia Cole’s voice.
However, I think that this song is going to be the one that helps her FINALLY get her foot through the door.

Image wise, Keyshia and K. Michelle are cut from the same cloth…especially when Keyshia 1st came out. I liked some of her other songs, so I’ll listen to her others.
OK – I have to throw my 2-cents in. She has a GREAT voice. But the comparisons to Keyshia Cole are acurate. She has the exact singing style and body gestures (check some of her other videos). That being said, she still has beautiful and powerful voice. Her style (hair/clothes/make-up) will evolve over time – but she will NEVER be able to please everyone with her image.
I give this song three thumbs up – it’s (oddly enough) a soothing and well produced song.
