♫ Willow Smith – 21st Century Girl
10 year-old Willow Smith dropped her second single, “21st Century Girl,” from her first upcoming, untitled studio album under Jay Z’s Roc Nation. Check out the little star as she sings over an uptempo, pop-electronic track, with much sass, confidence and attitude.
Willow is scheduled to debut and perform this song on Tuesday, March 1 on the Oprah Winfrey Show.

*March First.
It’s an ok song, Whip My Hair is better
It sounds like a lady gaga track
LOL there is no TUESDAY FEB 29TH lol come on now peepz
Im 19-I can see myself dancing in the mirror to this out of boredome-I LIKE IT.
– I meant *boredom*
Exactly @KD
It works for her age group.
Meh, it has no personality probably because most of it is auto tune and talking, I also don’t like that moaning shes doing, kinda innapropriate.
i love this photo you posted christine!!!
I really don’t see her going really far, NOW. “Whip My Hair” was a great entrance to the business, now how about giving her a few years to develop as an artist. Once she’s actually been through a few things, she’ll have something to say and some depth to her music. I’d give her a good four years.
I don’t think she should be doing this.
Her saying ”I’m the kind of chick that”. I mean, I love you Will and Jada, but that’s a bit inappropriate for a 10 year old to be singing. She is just too damn grown and acts like an 18 year old
I’m not hating on her or the Smith’s but I’m disappointed on how they are raising their children.
LOL
Hate these boring and redundant generic club beats. Boo! And no thanks.
I ACTUALLY LIKE IT, THINK IT COULD HAVE BEEN A LIL PUT TOGETHER BETTER BUT I LOVE THE CHORUS AND ALL, NICE SNG, CANT WAIT FOR THE VIDEO, ITS AN ENTERTAINING SONG
WILLOW IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ANNOYING she’s like the lil kid in the family who always wants to sing at cook outs and yes the kid has a lil bit of talent but then all of a sudden the kid wants to sing at every cook out and then the cook outs become a 1 man talent show 4 this annoying kid so yes that’s who willow is uhhh go back to elementary school and come back in ten yrs get a life kid or go to disney but selling record on a major label and no place for kids go to disney and make music for them until your like 20 thank god her mom & dad are famous or she wouldn’t stand a chance #realshit
hahahaha…that hilarious because I know exactly what you mean. The annoying kid that wants to sing everywhere. Every chance she gets she’s on the ‘mic’.
i dig it
she has a LOT of talent.! forget the fact that she’s will and jada’s child and focus on HER talent dumbasses.!!! this song is cute.
and whip my hair was a hell of a song too. yall forgetting the fact that she’s only 10 and STILL making songs EVERYONE can dance to. all the negative comments sound like a bunch of hating ass adults who’s just made kuz nobody in their family has talent like this 10 year old girl does. -smh. i like this song. at least willow has MY support.
I could not agree more with you. I actually see they are trying to promote her like Rihanna too where she has R&B and pop appeal. They are trying to make her mainstream which is great. Keep doing your thing Willow.
Mad cute! I can rock witit.
I can hear this on a kids movie soundtrack or something. Its not something id bump but its kewl for her age group.
You better get it “Baby Rihanna” lol
Is this the great RiRi-haters hope – the one who will finally put an end to RiRi’s career – cause there is no need for two colored pop princesses and Willow’s slowly biting off Rihanna’s swag.
sounds like Rihanna and Kesha had a studio session *smh* I was with her on “whip my hair”, but as previously stated, this moaning is inappropriate…
People she’s a child come on now..She’s will give alot of blk kids her age idea’s and confident… How many blk kids do u know are singing at her age .. now how many kids that are none white singing … let’s not bash a child…remember our past people we are adults ..
I listened to the song several times listening for moaning…I didn’t hear any…Sounds very age appropiate to me…Go Willow your confidence and charisma is refreshing!
I think it’s a good song. Not something I would listen to because as an adult I cant relate to those lyrics being sung by a 10 year old…it just feels akward.
Not my flava but a good song for what it is. At first I didn’t like the lyrics “I do what I like, I’m a rebel.” I was thinkin that it was too grown. But it made perfect sense if I imagined her singing to her age group, which I think was the point.
i wish the lyrics were more child appropriate. this sounds like something an adult (i.e. rihanna or lady gaga) would be singing. she’d be far more appealing if her act was more childlike =/
Sounds like Ke$ha music, if you know who she is
She has a lot of talent and the sky is the limit. She has good parents that will protect her from the dangers and pitfalls of the business.
Willow smith iz dha bomb diggity!!
