Every year, an artist or two headlines the half-time show with a show-stopping performance. For this year’s football championship game, the Black Eyed Peas brought down the house with their over-the-top costumes and a 12-minute party-hopping medley of their chart-topping hits like “Boom Boom Boom”, “Pump It”, “Let’s Get It Started” and “I Gotta Feeling.” The group were later joined by singer Usher and rock guitarist Slash during their performance of “OMG” and “Sweet Child O’ Mine”. The halftime show was on point this year
The only thing that was good about that performance was the lights. The lighting shit was dope. Usher, and BEP were horrible.
Someone needs to throw Fergie in the garbage where she belongs cause that was assault to my ears. Hollering and shit.

no one of them can sing. only trying to scream as loud as possible so they can be heard. usher did try to whisper something until william came to his rescue. i felt like constantly trying to sing better in my head sort of help them out.
If it wasn’t for the stage light spectacular, it would have been a snoozefest. The halftime show hasn’t been real good since Prince in 07.’

I’m sick of these people. We need new performers I watched this mess when it aired and let me just say my life was wasted. WE NEED NEW PERFORMERS. Give new people a chance because these so called veterans are not cutting it.

I agree. This entire halftime show was a mess. BEP didnt do anything but make a bunch of noise, and Usher didnt do anything but display stiff dance moves and wispher into the microphone. I dont know what happened to Ush, but he hasnt gave a knockout performance since his Confession era. Maybe he needs to take a rest, come back and give us some music and dance moves that’ll really knock the worlds socks off…

Im sorry but am i the only one who feels this performance was str8 garbage? The light up body suits was the only eye catcher! Plus The Black Eye Peas really arent that great either! The only reason people like them is because they added Fergie! Slash didnt really do anything that SPECTACULAR but since he is a ICON ill let him slide. Usher needs to sit his old ass down! The whole performance was horrible!
No one is hating or criticizing. The God honest truth is that the halftime show was boring. I was more entertained by the lighting show. I tell ya I was pumped because BEP usually brings the noise. They have great hit songs that are perfect to perform at this type of a venue. They just did not do it. I was NOT impressed.
I loved the Half time show performance. I thought is was very energetic and well choreographed. Everyone at our party liked it as well. To some of the comments on here….I guess you can’t please everyone.

I’m 17 and I can honestly say that these kids don’t know about good halftime shows. Until they can say that they remember Superbowl Halftime 01 when *NSYNC, Nelly, Mary J. Blige, Britney Spears, and Aerosmith got together on one stage and performed Walk This Way
This performance sucked seriously. Everyone griping about Christina messing up but at least she could sing live. Wtf was Fergie doing this sounds like Hot ish on a platter.
Usher couldn’t save this performance at all!!! Crap Eyed Peas needs to stop singing/rapping or whatever they call themselves, they are garbage!!! Where are the real singers and artists at???!!!! Autotune really?? They might as well brought T-Pain- WACK!!!!
