Actress TIKA SUMPTER was spotted leaving PIX11 Morning News where she promoted the new season of “Gossip Girl” in New York City on Monday morning.

It’s funny, I was just discussing how old she may be with my mother last night. I guessed about 30, not because she looks it, but because I remember her from the soap opera days and she was like 20 something then, so I figured she had to be in her late 20s or 30 now. But wow, 33…she looks good!

First of all… lets applaud the modern day tv casters for putting on someone that is a true woman of color. finally someone i can relate too… putting on light skins black girls has been so cliche… its great to see that african american are being recognized for talent rather than being a coveted superficial stereotype. I love tika. shes very relatable.. and she just gives off a confidence that has no underlining of what they call the common angry black woman bs. Great addition to gossip girl <3 <3
