lol no it doesn’t and Adele is a GREAT artist and gives credit to the people who have influenced her. She’s an incredible artist.

I love her. Rolling in the deep is my jam!!

  9. N1girl

wow ! the greatest reprise of this amazing song by the queen of soul! i absolutely love adele!

  10. WhiteLatina

I love R & B music and I think British soul singers are truly great at the genre, much better than the blue-eyed American psuedo soul singers like Xtina. Xtina is nothing but a mimic who tries too hard.

  11. Artisan

Oh, I love her. Her album is ridic. Constant, heavy rotation via ipod. Now, if only Amy Winehouse could get it together. :(

  12. Darealist

Real talent has no color lines. Her last cd was good. If we step out of the box sometimes, we will be a little more rounded. Adele is what’s up!

  13. Damian in Dallas

Wow, now I see what the hype is about!

  14. collegegirl12

Its amazing how these UK singers really embody the soul of American R&B music, Amy Winehouse, Adele, Lily Allen, and Duffy. I love all these singers.

    • EMILY

      And they’re all white!!
I dont mean to sound ignorant but I think it’s shameful how people like Alexandra Burke, who has a lovely voice will resort to singing bubblegum music, while these white artists are embracing soulful music and doing it justice!
      Adele’s album is a MUST-HAVE!

  15. TiLingTiLingTing

i die everytime i hear her sing! that voice!!! i loveeeeeeeeeeeee

  16. lola

  17. Kenudigme

  18. kevin

They need to let Fantasia do this tribute…

  19. London speaks

Hay y’all I am from LONDON and know there are better talent than her here. LEO i hear you! There are many other UK artists who are great but she gets the hype because she is white. There are sO many other artists that are nore takented CHECK THEM OUT:

    4. Chipmunk
    5.Tinie tempah

    7. Miss dynamite
    8. Lady daville

    • yellowmellow

er what, you’ve listed just rap artists and mc’s and hip hop artists there is more to music than just r&b, whilst it’s good and I enjoy listening to it there are plenty of people more talented than half that you have listed! music doesn’t start and end at hiphop/rap.

    • Real Voices

      ew, RAPPERS CAN’T SING!!

  20. ddai frenchy

Uk Artists are the sh*t there are plenty like her Jessie J etc…

  21. yellowmellow

Her song ‘someone like you’ is amazing, give it a listen! Jessie J is really good too, though in a different way but nevertheless!

  22. Alexis

Her voice is so magical! I Love Her!

  23. intellione

I hear all the hype about these UK artist BUT ALWAYS REMEMBER the ORIGINAL talent that YOU ALL copy and Aspire to be comes BLACK AMERICANS, THEIR is NO shortage of TALENTED black americans here in the states, I myself kno girls that can OUT SING ARETHA but just have’t had the chance to SHine as of yet. THE talent runs DEEP in the U.S. however its more about LOOKS and MARKETABILITY here as opposed to ACTUAL SINGING ABILITY, hopefully in time it will turn around again….

  24. intellione

US artists are just as talented or arguably MORE talented than your average, thats why everyone around the world is INFLUENCED by what they hear over here in the STATE…WE ALL know this

  25. TLII

LOVE her! And her new album is superb!

  26. brittnie

I love her music!!! so talented

  27. Amar Menes

Adele, did a good job. Though, I know her throat was hurting after singing that song…lol

  28. Ash

I’m sorry, but I can’t take her seriously singing this knowing she just found out who Aretha Franklin is a couple years ago.

  29. yellowmellow

Why have some of these comments turned into a ‘US artists are better than UK artists or any other artists and all other artists around the world copy US artists’ – what happened to appreciating an artist in their own right regardless of all that bull?!?!

  30. deliored

The problem with these UK artists is all of them are white Singing R& B music. Imagine if your a black artist in the UK. Its going to take a miracle for you to be signed. Are they applauding her because she is a white british artists sounding black? YEP YOUD BETTER BELIEVE IT! If she were a heavy set black woman who this be a big deal ? NOPE! This is problem that needs to be talked about. The media is partly to blame. Its all good for a white girl wether posh or not sings black music and end up on the r&b charts but not for a black musicians.. Its happening over here they just hook up with black producers and songwriters. JUST ASK these fine folks… Justin Bieber Justin Timberlake,Christina A,Katy Perry,Kesha the list goes on…
