Philadelphia singer/songwriter Marcus White has been performing since the age of 3, and now he’s gearing up for the release of his independent debut album. His influences vary from R&B crooner Eric Benet to alt. metal rock band Evanescence, but he says he aims to emotionally captivate listeners in a way very few are capable of.

The song titled Journey is trying to be sneaky with its use of auto-tune. I don’t mind auto-tune as an effect if its obvious and doesn’t try to fool the listener. This song tries to fool the listener of this signer’s ability. Its frustrating cause he’s a good singer, but he definitely can’t do everything he does in this song naturally. I feel like its dishonest to do that to listeners.
