Def Jam Rapstar and the Get Schooled Foundation are partnering to offer you a chance to meet Def Jam execs Russell Simmons and Kevin Liles and perform your rap or spoken word poetry on BET’s 106 & Park.

If you’re a U.S. high school student between the ages of 13 and 19, upload your 60-second video speaking about how education influences your life and you could win a trip to New York City. The contest ends March 18, and be sure to read all rules and regulations.

Race to the Top Commencement Challenge!

President Barack Obama and the White House are back for the 2nd Annual Race to the Top Commencement Challenge. They are looking for high schools across the country who exemplify learning and preparation for colleges and universities.

The Race to the Top Commencement Challenge is back and we’re asking public high school students from across the country to tell us about ways their school is preparing them for college and a career.
