At the moment, Willow is NOT in DEMAND, they are trying to CREATE a DEMAND for her. Whip My Hair was cute but not cute enough for her now to be a full fledged touring artist. Get real, this is not supply to meet demand, this is supply until there is a demand.
She can sing and dance at home, with her friends, in her school play, IMO, get it IMO she doesn’t need to be on the world’s stage this soon, IMO she should continue writing, learning about music, production etc…that would make her more marketable in the LONG RUN.

Unfortunately…that how it works…Lil Wayne is the biggest example. Talent doesn’t matter anymore…its all about finding the easiest way to make money…why spend time and effort on developing a artist when you can just use a gimmick or ride the already existing buzz an artist generated for themselves before the deal…

I totally agreed with Terry McMillian too when she said let Willow do a movie and call it a day… At her young and tender age she should not be working especially when she is having problems with grades and also when you can not read “Congradulate”… Take a look at Sasha & Malia, Ming & Aoki, Ryan Pete, etc… They look like little girls, dress like little girls and they have parents that are putting them in the right direction and they are not working…

It is only respectful to truly learn your craft before you try selling it to other people. However, Willow may be educated and trained in music to a degree suitable for the type of music she wants to make and for the type of audience she wants to play to. Besides, she is clearly an excellent performer with solid vocals, and she seems very comfortable onstage. I’m sure she has tutors to ensure she gets a basic education, so I don’t think she or her parents are making any bad decisions right now. As far as creating a demand…that’s what all artists do. Britney opened for Nsync before anyone was checking for her, but she managed to turn those screaming girls into fans of her own. The method Willow is employing CAN work.

Shes an opening act not a headliner or co headliner . All she needs is couple of tracks and whip my hair is enough to get the crowd worked up AND for her to gain stage experience.
What other kid artist could they have paired with Biebers ? and that single is the type of dance beat that that the euro girls on Biebers tour probably love anyway .

What Will and Jada need to realize is when they started thr careers times were totally different. Society was a lot more friendlier for lack of better word. Kids these days are exposed to far more then we were(thirtysomethings) they sit beside gang members in school, they are exposed to sexual content on prime time tv, music, and reality shows. They are mimicking those same sexual tendencies thinking they are grown at pre-teen stages..this too me is too much…Willow needs to go sit down and be a little girl..The smiths raise thr kids to feel as if they can do anything which i agree with…however, do it within reason and when the time is right..she’s losing her childhood early…didn’t anyone get michael jacksons memo?

This is disgusting to me. I don’t know about anyone else but when I see this little, tiny, itty bitty, baby onstage dressed like that, it creeps me out. She is seriously dressed like an 18 year old. The outfit isn’t revealing, of course, but just the flashiness of her colorful hair and the pronounced design of the outfit are too much for her. It’s odd that adults and teens are fans of a little girl. Why is it that the industry thinks that it’s okay for her to be dressing like and admiring Lady Gaga and Rihanna, who both sell sex to the fullest and have sexually explicit lyrics? She is only 10 and this business is not a place for a child. People who disagree and think people are hatin on her are out of their minds! She definitely has a great voice and charisma, but damn, just let her try to live a normal kid life and spend time getting vocal lessons for at least another 6 years.
