Sorry to be posting this here, but the comments are off for the 50 cent giveaway.
Anyways 50 cent made some ignorant comments in the wake of the Japan tragedy, and he brushed them off as him doing it for ‘shock value’.
I just wanted to say that I think it’s interesting that no black blogs will post anything about that. When there is ‘twitbeef’ about dumb ish, it’s all over the net, but when we have such a huge rapper act like a fool in the wake of such a tragedy, it’s nothing. Is it because we don’t have expectations of rappers or 50 cent for that matter?
You know if after the Haiti incident, some white artist made comments about having to ‘evacuate his hoes from haiti’ or ‘those crazy black boys gonna go looting’ we in the black community will be up in arms.

What an –hole, if this is true. I gotta check that out. Even though it’s off topic, I see why you posted it. What many people don’t realize is that many of the most successful and richest celebs don’t care about giving away money or donating. They only do it for the fame and glory. I never liked 50 because he’s a poor excuse of a black man who got lucky with money. How in the world is he worth like half a billion dollars when he’s clearly, inarticulate, greedy, arrogant, and immature?
