Check out a brand new artist by the name of Gail Scott, also known as Scotty. The 19-year-old Bronx, NY native is the first artist to sign with producer, Soundz on his JeepBoyz Entertainment imprint, via Universal Motown. Soundz has worked with some of the industry’s biggest heavyweights, including Rihanna, Beyonce and Usher, and now is working with Scotty on her debut album, Tuff.

I’ve known about Gail Scott for a few years now. I did an Interview with Tokyo Diiva back in 2008, and she was apart of her crew (Juice Krew). Maybe still is? I didn’t know she got signed to a major label though. She’s kinda dope.

Sorry,18 is still considered a child… Legal yes, an adult no… Sex has been around since forever. It’s a planned cycle. It’s all about money,drugs and sex… nothing of substance. That’s why the majority of these songs don’t stand the test of time… in five years you won’t be able to throw most of this mess on and get people up dancing, and that says alot. This is the “get money” generation,but it’s also the lost generation… most will be burnt out by 25.
I think this song is just awful. I personally am sick of songs like this with the whole “I’m not having sex with you because you don’t talk to me/love me like you should” routine. It’s been done so many times that now its just sickening and boring. And the lyrics are just terrible. “You better jack cuz you ain’t gettin Jill”? Are you serious? These young artists need to find them some lyricists who can really right. Lyrics should be poetic and make people feel something. I am over it being just about the beat, which in this case, is mediocre as well.

WTF is this????? Girl, you cannot sing! She sounds like any ol light skinned, young, black girl! And she’s 19, possibly turning 20 this year so she’s an adult, pretty young, but out of her teens. This song is disgusting and our music sucks. I’m tired of these young -ss, immature artists releasing bubblegum music. People should be admiring young stars such as Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson, Joss Stone, Tiffany Evans, Jordin Sparks…. singers who can sing their a–es off and release amazing music with so much substance. Or even Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift. They can’t sing, but they are both young adults who don’t sell sex.

Wow.. i remember her from the juice krew days/ her,tokyo,deuce,mermaid.. all beautiful,professional, DOPE females..they were big.. and changed alot in NYC i have to say im a little dissapointed with the song though.i think she could have came up with something more unique. something to rep ny and where shes from.her swag is original but it looks like they are marketing her like everyone else.. im waiting for single #2 and waitiing to see the rest of the juice krew ladies take over their fields
