Do you remember Jhene Aiko? She was once signed to Chris Stoke’s T.U.G. label alongside B2K and was cross-promoted with the group for a lot of her releases. An album never came out and Jhene took a break to finish her education and have a baby with Omarion’s younger brother, O’Ryan, who is commonly known as Sonny Ocean O. Well, Jhene is back with a new mixtape entitled Sailing Soul(s).

Sailing Soul(s) contains productions by The Fisticuffs, Bei Maejor, Roosevelt and more. The mixtape also features impressive collaborations from Miguel, Drake and Kanye West, to name a few. She recently released the tape via her official website, JheneAiko.com. There’s not really any official word on what’s going on as far as her situation or if she’s releasing an album, but with this mixtape, it seems as though she’s trying to generate a buzz for something.

jus wanna say to EVERY1 that had good things to say about Jhene-YOU KNOW REAL MUSIK!!!! some of yall sound dumb as HELL talkin bout she’s weak, unoriginal, etc….smdh..W T F have u been listening to????? kuz it damn sure hasn’t been the same mixtape the rest of us are..I give kredit where it’s due and the likes of alice smith, marsha ambrosius and others r PHENOMENAL..but do NOT underestimate Jhene Aiko..nor her sister Mila J..had their label dun anything with them-they wud be KILLIN EVERY SINGLE FEMALE OUT RIGHT NOW!!!! #REALSPIT..vokally their range is STOOPID..and that’s just the beginning..I’ve always been a fan and agree with everything said!! now, MILA MILA PLZ KUM BACK OUT 2!!!! we need u kuz theez NON-singing female artists out here r REALLY gettin on my f’n nerves….

My bf told me he downloaded a mixtape by a chick he heard off Miguel’s mixtape and when i found out it was Jhene i flipped!!!!!! I’ve loved her ever since i heard “You’re A Dog” off of B2K’S old album! YAY! Glad she’s back!
I’m just learning about Jhene’ but I’m feeling her music….she is on the level of my girl TEEDRA MOSES….that’s how I found out about her! I’m looking forward to hearing more
I’ve always liked Jhenea. I love her voice and I hope she makes it big, she deserves it.
