Since joining Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music fold, former member of the duo Clipse, Pusha-T offers up his first project before he delivers his debut solo album, which he cites as a “whole other monster.” The new mixtape, Fear of God is hosted by the Re-Up Gang, much like many of Pusha’s mixtapes in the past.
Fear of God is 13 tracks of original material, as well as freestyles over classic instrumentals, with features from Kanye West, 50 Cent, Kevin Cossom, Rick Ross and more. Production ranges from G.O.O.D. Music front man, Kanye West, The Neptunes, Tha Bizness and many more.
Kanye West Denies Firing Driver Over Late Lunch Kanye West is going on the offensive, denying that he fired the driver who delivered his lunch two hours late. Previous reports had surfaced that the rapper/producer fired his driver after it took him two hours to pick up lunch from Selfridges ...
Kanye West Goes Off on 'Female Friend' in New Freestyle Kanye never has a dull moment. In what sounded more like a comedy sketch than a freestyle, 'Ye got creative during his lyrical impromptu over his 808s & Heartbreak's cut, "Say You Will." Attendee's of his Melbourne show were in for some amusing entertainment.
7 Responses to MIXTAPE DOWNLOAD: PUSHA-T’s FEAR OF GOD
With a title like this I was really expecting (or hoping for) a song with “Jesus Walks” lyrics. I can hear how people would like his flow but I guess I’m the wrong audience. I was hoping to hear some God-hop like on a Jay Electronica vibe. This was more like a hard and disrespectful with it vibe and combined with God…honestly I felt weird, like in an uncomfortable way listening to the song.
Definitely not the type of sound from Pusha T…if anything Malice would be the one to do that type of song…he makes references to god but i think the title also insinuates that he is putting the fear of God into other rappers…Metaphorically saying that his flow/style is God like…or at the very least better than everyone else.
niceee!
