Check out the track “Power” from singer/songwriter Mateo. This is his take on Kanye’s popular song “Power” and is the first leak from his upcoming collaboration with Grammy Award winning producer Kerry “Krucial” Brothers (best known for his work with Alicia Keys).
Some of you may remember Mateo from our Artist Spotlight back in ’09 (VIEW IT HERE) and maybe even his version of Jay-Z’s and Alicia Keys’ “Empire State of Mind” (LISTEN HERE) that gained him somewhat of a following in 2010.

I’ve been a fan of Mateo for a few years now and I have loved every single song he has dropped. Including this one…I have all his mixtapes as well. People need to stop sleeping on this dude. His talent is pure brilliance. The new track is COLD.

Wow this is amazing! Kanye’s power is real good, but it’s so aggressive. I like this calmer r&b version <3
