The actress was interviewed by H.A.S. Magazine recently and spoke about being typecast:
Being typecast, people want to put you in a box based on what they think you can do and what they think your ability is. Also, being a black woman in this industry the opportunities for the quality projects that really have “meat” to them are kind of far and few between. There’s always the media that has opinions on you & who they think you are and that kind of thing. There are definitely a lot of things that could be potential road blocks, but I try to look at everything and say, “You know what? It’s a blessing to have something to fight for.” Just fighting to get up and go for it and fight the good fight.
After almost three years away from the music game, Jennifer Hudson makes a stable return with her sophomore release I Remember Me. Keeping in mind that she experienced and unimaginable tragedy with the murders of her family not long after her debut release, in listening to her new album, one can’t help but feel a sense of pride, in her ability to remain strong— if nothing else. On I Remember Me, Hudson seems somewhat brand new, re-energized, and seemingly jovial despite her life tribulations. The opening track “No One Gonna Love You,” is less persistent than the title would suggest, but sets the album’s tone off in the right direction. Produced by Rich Harrison, who is known for bringing the go-go element to tracks for the likes of Beyonce and Amerie, the song finds Hudson stepping a little bit out of her comfort zone with a new spin on what could easily turn into a run-of-the-mill bad break up song, but thankfully takes a turn in a different direction.

Chris Brown is photographed shortly after an explosive argument at GMA on Tuesday morning in NYC. It was reported that Brown lost his cool after Robin Roberts kept asking Rihanna questions. He then stormed into his dressing room and started screaming, and one source says us he smashed a window in his dressing room, and the glass shattered and some shards fell onto the street.
TMZ says that security rushed the area, Brown had ripped off his shirt and left the building, blowing off another performance he was supposed to for the ABC website.
Chris brown tweeted (and deleted) this following tweet shortly after the incident:
“I’m so over people bringing this past s**t up!!! Yet we praise Charlie sheen and other celebs for there bulls**t.”
