TV ROUND UP: WENDY, ROMEO, SUGAR-RAY & HINES ON DWTS PREMIERE + CHRIS BROWN ON 106TH & PARK

On Monday night, the cast of ABC’s Dancing with The Stars (Season 12) made their debut and hit the dancefloor for the first time with their professional partners. The first celebrity up was television personality Wendy Williams and her partner, Tony Dovolani. After Williams gave a rather stiff performance, the judges told her to not be so timid, then hit her with a score of 14 out of 30. Ouch. Hopefully she won’t get kicked off before the second episode. There’s a chance that she will improve as the show goes on…

On the other hand, rapper Romeo Miller, formerly known as Lil Romeo, showed off his dancing skills with his partner, Chelsie Hightower. In his performance of the cha-cha, Romeo kept it cool (of course), and proved that he has potential to move to the next round. The judges told him that he was too casual and gave him a 19 out of 30. Double ouch. Either way, he and Wendy did a good job for a first performance!

This time around the S-N-double O-P has added his g-funk rap verse to the song, with singer John Legend holding it down in the chorus. It is said that this song willbe on Snoop Dogg’s 11th upcoming studio album Doggumentary album, which is set to drop on Tuesday, March 29th. Give it a listen!

ALBUM REVIEW: CHRIS BROWN’S F.A.M.E.

♫ Chris Brown – She Ain’t You

Only a year after the release of his third studio album, Graffiti, Chris Brown takes his place back in the spotlight for his brand new fourth studio album, F.A.M.E. The title is an acronym that is simply a tribute to his fans, stating “Fans Are My Everything.”

LISTEN UP:

The past couple years have been very trying for Chris Brown. He started off on top, in a high-profile relationship with one of the world’s biggest superstars with a budding career as an artist and becoming an accomplished writer. He had created his own lane, and some would even argue that Chris is the best at what he does. But all of that talent and greatness was overshadowed by controversy, with a domestic situation that would leave Chris Brown in between a rock and a hard place.

Radio outlets, fans, music television and even some of his peers made the decision to steer clear of Chris Brown and his 2009 release, Graffiti, but it seems as though amid some appearances, performances and successful mixtapes, the doors have began to open again for the 21-year-old crooner. On his latest effort, F.A.M.E., Chris wants to give a token of his appreciation to his fans for sticking by him through this tough time, simply by making music that they want to here. Continue
