Former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson stopped by the Ellen Show earlier this week. In a one-on-one interview with the former American Idol judge, Tyson shared how he felt and coped with the passing of his 4 year-old daughter, how he became sober and drug free as well has his 2-year journey as a vegan. When talking about his before and after photos, Tyson jokingly referred to himself as the ‘Michigan Man’. We’re thinking that perhaps he meant ‘Michelin Man’? Either way, you can decide that for yourself. Lol
Speaking of Mike Tyson…On Monday, members of Members of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) protested in front of Tyson’s home, after watching the debut of Tyson’s television show, Talking on Tyson. In the premiere episode, Tyson is shown enjoying his hobby of competing with fellow pigeon racers:
The picketers carried signs reading, “Featherweights: No match for a Heavyweight” and “Mike doesn’t give pigeons a fighting chance.”
PETA representative Lisa Lange says, “These animals aren’t racing because they enjoy it. It’s out of desperation that they make it back.” [ Source ]
Higher ups at the animal rights organization attempted to prevent the show from airing back in March before the show began filming, calling his little (or big) hobby as “inherently cruel”.
Kelly Rowland is already rolling out the remixes for her new Lil’ Wayne-assisted single, “Motivation.” Originally produced by Jim Jonsin, check out the remix, produced by Diplo. The track is lifted from Kelly’s still untitled third solo album, which is rumored to hit stores some time in April.
Tennis champion Serena Williams is doing fine after her health scare last month. The 29 year-old was rushed to the hospital and later found out she had a pulmonary embolism.

EARLY FEB. SHE FOUND OUT ABOUT THE EMBOLISM
“I had a lot of swelling in my leg, which really is a tell-tale sign of an embolism, and I could not breathe. That’s when they found several blood clots. They told me they had to check me in immediately or it wasn’t going to be a good result.
LATE FEB. SHE HAD THE MOST RECENT SCARE
“I’m on blood thinner injections. I inject myself twice a day. I apparently must have hit something, … so what started out as a golf ball ended up being the size of a grapefruit.” At the hospital she was told it couldn’t be drained; it had to be surgically removed.
FOOT INJURY BEING THE CAUSE
“Yes, and not moving and doing as much as I normally do and flying back and forth a lot.”
ON HER HEALTH NOW:
“I’m just taking it one day at a time. My lungs are fairly healthy and I’m on the road to recovering.” [SOURCE]
Serena said she plans on getting back on the court soon.
Vampire Diaries star Katerina “Kat” Graham released a music video in tribute to the iconic Janet Jackson. In the mashup video, the 21 year-old actress/model sings and dances to her mashup cover of Janet’s early 90′s hits “Escapade” and “Love Will Never Do Without You”. The dance-heavy video was choreographed by Laurieann Gibson, with direction by Bille Woodruff and production by Jaala Ruffman.
