Celebrity Apprentice’s NeNe Leakes stopped by The Ellen Degeneres Show early Wednesday afternoon. The former Real Housewives of Atlanta personality kept it real when asked her thoughts about her castmate, Star Jones. Leakes was pretty candid and funny in her responses:
“Well I just think that Star is manipulative. I mean she is bossy, she’s manipulative…conniving. And I’m not even being funny. I think that is real. I honestly think that is who she is. She is controlling. Do I think that she knows that? Yeah. When she looks in the mirror, she better know. She is that way. She’s not the easiest person to get to know. She is…a disaster. That’s all.”
Word on the street is that NeNe is seeing Star Jones’ ex-huband Al Reynolds (insert side eye here). Nonetheless, you can watch the drama escalade between NeNe Leakes and Star Jones in the next episode of Celebrity Apprentice on Sunday nights at 9|8pm CST on NBC.
Soul singer John Legend takes a stab at Adele’s hit, “Rolling In the Deep.” He recently released a collaboration album with The Roots, titled Wake Up! and is in the studio with Kanye West, working on his upcoming fourth studio album, which he will release later this year.
Chris Brown made another visit to BET’s 106th & Park on Wednesday afternoon. The 21 year-old talked about how is week went, his album release party and randomly shared his favorite part about living and being from a small town in the country. At the end, Brown issued a statement regarding his vandalism incident after his GMA interview with Robin Roberts:
“First and foremost, I want to apologize to anybody who was startled in the office. Anybody who was offended or really looked and was disappointed in my actions, because I was disappointed in the way I acted. A lot of people don’t know what went down. When I do shows or when i do interviews, we always send out a talking point sheet. If the network or whoever isn’t complying with what we want to do so we can equally accomplish a goal, we usually back out and wait until it’s a better situation. So when we actually did this event, every was cool. We were supposed to perform. The talking points were positivity, creative and everything that was sent to me about the album. That’s what we were talking about. So as the interview proceeded… I was kind of thrown off by it. I was thrown off by it. I felt like it was like they told us this just so they could get us on the show to exploit me. That’s what I thought. I took it very very hard, you know? I kind of kept my composure throughout the whole interview. I did my performance. And when I got back, I just left off steam in the back.
I didn’t physically hurt anyone. I didn’t try to hurt anyone. I just wanted to release the anger I had inside me. I just felt I worked so hard for this music and I love my fans and I love to be able to make positive music, but I felt like people kept just trying to just take it away from me. So yes, I got very emotional and I apologize for acting like that.“
Singer/songwriter Mateo, soul singer Goapele and rapper Ab Livateam up on “Don’t Shoot Me Down”, which is the 2nd single off of his upcoming Love & Stadiums mixtape.
Love & Stadiums is Mateo’s collaborative with Grammy Award winning producer Kerry “Krucial” Brothers and will be available on March 30th.
