Jennifer Hudson is partnering with AOL to give fans a chance to hear I Remember Me, the follow-up to her 2008 self-titled debut, in its entirety before it’s released Tuesday, March 22.
In addition to the lead single, “Where You At”, the album features “Gone”, “I Got This”, the Alicia Keys/Swizz Beatz-penned “Angel” and more, including her cover of “Feeling Good”, made popular by the late, great Nina Simone. Let us know what you think of the album.

I like Jen, however she is such a fake when it comes to weight loss. ADMIT that you have had some sort of surgery. That is why you will never see BEFORE and AFTER pic in the Weight Watchers commercial. Because that would be more like false advertisement. So, you will see Jen pics afterwards. Sidebar: Her hands and arms are HUGE. They look so ackward all the time as if she did not know what to do with them

You have to be at least 100 pounds overweight for ANY doctor to do a gastric bypass surgery, so I doubt if she had surgery, cuz she was chunky or chubby before, but she was no way NEAR obese, so yall need to stop with the surgery thing. She could’ve had lipo, but even with lipo that wouldn’t explain her face being small like that…that girl has been exercising and eating right, that’s all. Hell, I work out 5 days a week and eat salads all day and I lost almost 10 pounds in 2 weeks. Can u imagine how much weight I could lose in 6 months? Jennifer has been working hard, that’s all. Stop believing you can’t lose weight the old fashioned way…not every damn body can just go get surgery..there are parameters you fools.
I love Jennifer Hudson and her voice is one of the best out in the business. As a fan and a true fan we have the right to put artist we love and feel passionate about on blast. To me the songs are ok just lacking some sort of life? I love the balance on her 1st album. Her sophomore album sounds like one big song nothing that really stands out. Very true it’s inspirational and likely won’t appeal to everyone but I was just expecting a whole different JHud. Nevertheless I’m sure it will do well.
Its ok…not great…a lot of slow boring songs…a couple attempts at mainstream type music…not really feelin that at all…

I believe that she has fallen into a sophomore slump with this rushed album. None of the tracks stand out and it sounds like a bunch of Alicia Keys leftovers/rejects. I like her voice but her song choices are shitty on this one. I’ll give it another listen, but I doubt this will grow on me.

Love it! This is way better than the first cd. The first cd was nice but all the tracks was just thrown together and didnt really gve her a sound. I don’t know why people are saying this cd is rushed, this cd is way more cohesive than the first one and she sounds GREAT! My faves are Angel, I got this and don’t look down. Get into this real R&B and not that monotononous techno/electro dance crazze that is taking over the airwaves!

Yes, Yes, Yes. I’m definitely feeling ‘Gone’ — that should have been her first single. Also, the ‘Angel’ joint is hot. I would like to hear ‘No One Gonna Love You’ live, that one is hot too. Am I the only one who thinks it (N.O.G.L.Y.) sounds like a Mariah Carey joint? Overall, great album Jennifer.

This album is STELLAR. I dont know what album some of you are listening to but this album far exceeds the first and has LOTS of great songs on it. Listen to the album more than once, and not on a crappy computer and get a REAL feel for the songs. Some of you crack me up! You’ll listen to a song like ICE CREAM & CAKE before you give real music a true listen. This is an amazing album and Jennifer and her team should be really proud!

This is real soulful with meaningful lyrics. I love Jennifer’s voice and spirit on this album.
It is sad that many call good soulful music boring. These the same people who find playing an musical instrumental and reading a writing musical scales and notes boring.
Everyone wants to be spoon feed and no one wants to create greats sounds and lyrics just catchy lyricals
