AWARENESS: TARIQ NASHEED’S ‘HIDDEN COLORS’ NOW ON DVD + TRAILER

April 28th, 2011

Hidden Colors is a documentary about the real and untold history of people of color around the globe. Brought to you by entrepreneur/author/public speaker Tariq Nasheed, the film discusses some of the reasons the contributions of African and aboriginal people have been left out of the pages of history.

Traveling around the country, the film features popular black scholars, historians, and social commentators who uncovered facts about things such as:

- The original image of Christ

- The true story about the Moors

- The original people of Asia

- The great west African empires

- The presence of Africans in America before Columbus

- The real reason slavery was ended

& MORE!

It premiered in select theaters earlier this month, but for those of you who couldn’t attend it is now available for purchase on the official website.

Lol je suis né et j’ai grandi en Corse, ça m’a fait bizzare de voir la tête de maure sur la couv’ du Dvd. Je me demande si le réalisateur a connaissance de l’histoire du drapeau corse. C’est peut être juste purement esthétique.

I saw the promo for this on youtube. This brother, Tariq Nasheed, is very funny and he does know a little bit but this DVD will not reveal anything that will “empower” anyone. It’s like giving someone the recipe when they don’t have any of the ingredients. Terms like “Moor”, “Aborigine”, and “African” are all contrived terms and have no true bearing on anyone. Furthermore, none of these philosophers that he is speaking with can tell anyone what is going to happen to this society. They can only give their version of what has already happened. Only the Bible can tell us what WILL happen and accurately tell the reader what has happened. So-called Afrocentrists are reknowned for their inability to understand the Bible, so they write it off as the “white man’s book” lol. The white man founded “Afrocentrism” as well.

I’m not a “Christian” you idiot. Learn before you speak. That’s the problem with waterhead negroes like yourself. You gravitate to philosophy instead of knowledge. When all hell breaks loose in America, most black people will get caught out there because you’re into every philosophy under the sun concurrently. Bugged out of your damn mind.

I have nothing to learn from a black wannabe. I already am what you wish you were. I admit that I have a bad habit of assuming that the person or people that I speak to on this website are black, and that is because I underestimate how much you bastards from the other races study black people to leach off of our spirit. The fact that you’re an “Asian” makes it even more glaring that you want to speak to a black person about black issues smh & lol. The interesting thing is that you other races have such a sense of false entitlement and superiority over black people that you do not see the hypocrisy in what you do. If a black person attempted to speak to an Asian (or any other race for that matter) about “Asian issues”, they would get put to scorn and probably physically assaulted. You’re in almost as deep a state of darkness as the black man and woman. You call yourself “Asian”, and do not even know what that word means lol.

Everthing has an origin. Therefore, to determine who we are, where we come from and ultimately where we’re going, we must first understand the history of our being. Having said that, I understand the present state of consciousness of the African american community. We cannot negate the fact that we have been indoctrinated into a mindset that did not originate on the continent of Africa. What does that mean? It means that we were forced to conform to the image of those who held and still holds us captive. In an attempt to keep us from discovering our true heritage, at one time in the history of this country, we were not allowed to read. For those of us who profess “Christianity” as it is taught, we are instructed to “Be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed, by the renewing of your mind”. Has that transformation taken place? For some yes, but for the overwhelming majority, absolutely not. I believe in “Christ”, which is a consciousness and not a name. Organized religion, is not reflective of the “Truth” that sets us free. I am not one who just accepts the dictates of others. I am a seeker of the “Truth”. I have done extensive research on religion, history (both African and European) including Egyptology, Astrophysics and world government. What I have discovered through research, leaves a lot to be desired. There is and old African proverb that says; “When the student is ready, the teacher will appear”. I don’t expect very many African americans to respond to what has been said, but for those who do, with some sense of purpose and responsibility, I applaud you, for it is you who are heirs, joint heirs to the throne of “God”.
To often we think of God as a remote entity somewhere in the ethers overseeing his/her creation, when in fact we are God expressed and experienced in matter. The “Macrocosm” we call the Universe, is but ourselves condensed. What we know of ourselves, is very little. Therefore we equate that ignorance, with not knowing much about God. The knowledge of self, is the beggining of understanding. The culture we now live in, has certain social and psychological ramifications that are not conducive to right thinking. As progenitors of humanity, we should reflect the knowledge of our African ancestors, who not only mapped the stars, but also brought civility to the world. Man know thyself, for as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he. As to the “Bible” being the only source that can tell us ( people of African descent ) accurately what has happened; nothing can be further from the truth. It insults the intelligence of our ancestors to say that “Afrocentrists” are reknowned for their inability to understand the Bible. All there is and that can be known, was known long before the “Council of Nicea 325 A.D.”.

Judah you seem to have a lot of research ahead of you; philosophy leads to science, study, trial and error which is how you get the knowledge coming out of what you have learned from your study; the concept of a car was philosophy manifested into what you drive everyday, the car is a product of all scientific disciplines just like yourself and functions very similar to the human body. How bugged out is that? The universal principles in the Bible apply to all but what you must know is that what you know as the Bible today is a composition comprised of very very ancient Afikan folklore, allegory, mythology, cosmology, astrology, spiritual concepts of deities coming from universal (GOD) moral and divine laws/ principals which govern all that exist, yes all matter seen or unseen and yes that information has been pledgiarised and altered everything has a beginning; pop your bubble; if you did not learn or gain anything from this, you have some issues that need to be addressed; most likely some of the ones mentioned in the documentary.

      Kill self hate ;)

Support this documentary. We don’t have enough individuals out here trying to educate our younger generation of what their past is about so they can learn about themselves, their past, and the reason why things are the way they are today.

Even if this documentary doesn’t tell US what our future holds; once an individual sees it, maybe they will change their present day actions to alter their future.

I applaud Tariq for at least trying to put a DVD like this out there. The problem is that there are a lot of black people out there who already know what`s on the DVD, it`s old news, and is really only the tip of the iceberg ,the truth about what all black people have done in this world from an historical perspective goes much, much deeper than this DVD. but I do commend and applaud the brother and I can`t criticize him for trying to do for trying to do something. positive.

“The problem is that there are a lot of black people out there who already know what’s on this DVD”. This is news to me. I just watched this DVD last night with my brothers and like 17 friends, who range from the highly educated to the dude who just hangs out in the park all day, and we were all blown away by what’s on here. I’ve been to school, joined the military, traveled abroad, and never come across anything like this (well to be fair, bits and pieces, especially during my travels to Central/South America, but a lot of it flew over my head since I wasn’t searching for black history at the time), but there really isn’t anything out there like this DVD that compiles it all and tries to open up our eyes to knowledge beyond what the average school/college is teaching.

I’m a native of Corsica (French Island in the mediterranean sea) and I would like to know why Tariq Nasheed used Island Corsica’s flag for the cover of his Dvd?

Does he know the meaning behind this flag? It’s story?

The profile from the flag and dvd is said to be a moor. This being said this would provide evidence of their influence and presence in Europe. I believe he used it in connection with the content of the dvd.

I have not seen the DVD but my caucasian friend told me about it and how he enjoyed it. Some of this stuff I know of already I had touched base with this with some of my history teachers. I was fortunate enough to have White history teachers who know of this knowledge. Not all Whites are pro Europe but the ones who try to lay claim to everything. It does bother me because to say that you ruled everything is stupid especially when you were not even around in those times make it even more asanine but you gotta love Eurocentrics they can tell you about the information but cannot combat true resources.

With the state of Black People in this country and abroad,it’s good to have knowlege you can feel drawn to instead of feeling the Outcast! It was posted” to have the dicussion” is the…is but one key to open up “Knowing!!!” And yes, i find it Insulting and Degradeing to be told i don’t have a History when All signs point differently! I thank Tariq for opening the Prism! Now lets shine the light at different angles and see what shows out of the other side! Truth comes out of all forms and only those with something to be lost, don’t want us digging. I have ALL KNOWLEGE to claim, for BLACK EXSISTENCE was attempted to be burried away! The sponge of many minds is looking for… MOORE!!! PUN INTENDED
