Today, Kelly Rowland premiered the video for her new single, “Motivation” on BET’s 106th & Park. The Sarah Chatfield-directed clip features Young Money mogul, Lil’ Wayne. The single is lifted from Kelly’s upcoming third studio album, which still remains untitled. “Motivation” has been getting pretty good radio spins, so it’s likely we will see Kelly’s album sometime this summer. You can also catch a cameo of model Jessica White in the video.
I actually like the song. I don’t like the video…the orgy at the end was a little over the top for me.

What Kelly needs is a good window of time to shine without Beyonce putting out an album, but we know that won’t happen. I’m not saying that Kelly can’t compete w/ Beyonce – however, the fan base for Beyonce is too strong. They see every other female trying to make it in the game as a threat. U can’t possibly be a Bey fan making that statement. On Bey’s site they CONSTANTLY promote Kelly’s stuff as well as other artists. Be real. Beyonce cannot help the god given talent she was born with. And how long should everyone wait? Beyonce takes almost 2 years between albums and she did the same this time. Kelly and other artists do them on their schedule and Beyonce should be allowed to do the same.

Listen at the vocal delivery of this track and then listen to her vocal delivery from some of her work from destiny child or even her first album.. I am not being personal with my comments. I am a music consumer and the crap we have been given to consume in the last 10 years is like fast food all day everyday! you eventually get constipated, skin looks bad, body feels bad, you can’t think properly and you are demotivated..
Ok I am aware that sex sales.. but what if the audience don’t want to buy sex right now? What if the audience wants something nourishing for the soul this time around? Kelly i thought your momma taught you better than that! well that what you said on the song survivor. lol.. what we have to remember is that these young people are the first to consume this and are the first to feel like a threesome is cool and smart and there are not consequences to it. See Kelly get to go home and be who she really want to be after this and who she really is.. the kids that consume this don’t have that privilege. i repeat this is not a “personal” statement.. I strongly believe that ms. rowland is a great singer but the material is not great! Its sensual, its sexual but its not a great song and it won’t get her any beyonce status and all that other crap.. People want real good music now.. they aint buying into this bull any more! The people want music that they can relate to..
