So, Jill Scott and her label must not have liked the response that they got from her latest single, “Shame,” because even though they’ve already shot a video for the Eve-featured track, Jill has decided to switch her first official single to the Anthony Hamilton-assisted track, “So In Love.” The new track will lead off her forthcoming new album, Light of the Sun. The new album is slated to hit stores some time this summer.

She didn’t compromise anything, if you listen to Jill’s music and those that she’s always been down with musically, Shame is just as much a part of who she is as this song.

Yes!!!!!!!!!!! This is what I’m talking about! I miss this type of music. As Jill would say…”a breath of fresh air”. With all of the techno-pop stuff going on, it’s so refreshing to hear “real” singing and “real” music. Other artists need to peep this right here, because this is where it’s at!

Not only should this be the first track released from the CD, I think it should create the feel for the whole album! You HAVE to move when you hear it. Follow this flow with the rest of the tracks, slow as well as fast, and you will have the smash hit album of the summer…. and me and mine in the first five rows when you come back to NY/NJ!!!!!!!
