In a press release that was issued earlier today, it was revealed the the track will also be surfaced to radio tomorrow. “Friends are the people who let you be yourself… and never let you forget it.” Ah yes, the classic tagline for the 1995 romance film, Waiting To Exhale. It looks like the sequel to the box office hit movie will be making its debut some time next year! The follow-up film will be based on Terry McMillan’s latest novel Getting To Happy, which takes us into the lives of Savannah, Bernadine, Robin and Gloria (played by Whitney Houston, Angela Bassett, Lela Rochon and Loretta Devine).
The author of the book recently tweeted about the movie being in the works:

Word on the street is that Loretta Devine and Angela Bassett have agreed to participate in the film. No word on whether Whitney Houston and Lela Rochon will be joining the cast. Hopefully the movie soundtrack turns out just as dope as the first!
If the entire original cast doesn’t come back..
