After three weeks of performing on ABC’s Dancing With The Stars, Wendy Williams‘ life just gets better and better! The media personality is on not one but two covers of Essence magazine’s Girlfriends issue. In the May issue, the 46 year-old talks family, friendship and her personality appeal:
“I know I make some people cringe. But I also know my willingness to expose myself, warts and all, is part of the reason people are drawn to me. With me, what you see is what you get.” [Source]
Essence magazine will also declare April 13th as “Girlfriends Appreciation Day” in honor of “besties” everywhere. Join women for this celebration of sisterhood, and do something extra special for your “bestie” on that day — whether it’s a spa treat, a trip to the mall, or dinner at her favorite restaurant. Other celebrity besties in the issue are: Jada Pinkett-Smith & Queen Latifah, Beyonce & Tina Knowles, Brandy & Kelly Rowland and Niecy Nach & Sherri Shepherd. Peep Wendy’s second cover below!
Today, Kelly Rowland premiered the video for her new single, “Motivation” on BET’s 106th & Park. The Sarah Chatfield-directed clip features Young Money mogul, Lil’ Wayne. The single is lifted from Kelly’s upcoming third studio album, which still remains untitled. “Motivation” has been getting pretty good radio spins, so it’s likely we will see Kelly’s album sometime this summer. You can also catch a cameo of model Jessica White in the video.
Concrete Loop is partnering with contemporary gospel duos BeBe & CeCe Winans and Mary Mary for an exclusive giveaway for a pair of tickets to their New York City stop (at Madison Square Garden) on the Still Something Big Tour on Saturday, April 9.

2. What is the title of Mary Mary’s GRAMMY-winning debut album AND what year was it released?
One lucky winner will be randomly selected on Friday (April 8).
