MUSIC VIDEO: RIHANNA – “MAN DOWN”

Today, pop starlet Rihanna premiered her brand new video for “Man Down” on BET’s 106th & Park. The single was lifted from Rihanna’s latest LP, Loud, which is in stores now. The Anthony Mandler-directed clip was shot a little while back in Jamaica and appropriately so with Rihanna returning to her Caribbean roots for the track.

Lloyd feat. Trey Songz & Jeezy – Be the One (full) – listen
Check out the brand new single from Lloyd. The new track, “Be the One” is the third single lifted from his forthcoming fourth studio album, King of Hearts and is co-produced by Polow Da Don and Drumma Boy. The new album is set to hit stores July 5th, with a video on the way.

Nicki Minaj feat. Swizz Beatz – Catch Me (full) – listen
Here’s some unreleased material from Nicki Minaj, featuring and produced by Swizz Beatz. “Catch Me” is supposedly a bonus track from international releases of Nicki’s debut album, Pink Friday, which is in stores now.

Ray J feat. Rico Love – Bananas (full) – listen
Ray J, after much success in the realm of reality TV, is working hard on his studio album, Raydiation 2. Here’s a brand new song, “Bananas,” featuring songwriter/producer, Rico Love. No word on when Ray J plans to release this new album, especially since he and his sister, Brandy, are supposedly working on a collaboration album as well.

K. Michelle feat. Akon – MP3 (full) – listen
Jive signee K. Michelle is releasing a new single, “MP3.” The track is the third single from her debut album, Pain Medicine, which is slated for release sometime this year.

NEWS: JONAS BEVACQUA (CO-FOUNDER OF LRG) PASSES AWAY AT 34

Twitter accounts have been tweeting the sad news about LRG co-founder Jonas Bevacqua’s passing. Bevacqua, 34 is a southern California native and is the Co-Founder and Creative Director of popular street label LRG (Lifted Research Group). They are known for their innovative designs and advertisements featuring some of urban music’s most popular names including, Kanye West, Cee Lo, John Legend, Drake, Estelle, The Roots and more.

No additional information has been officially released about the cause of death.

In a recent interview with Hypebeast Magazine, the street wear pioneer spoke on how he got his multi-millionaire company off the ground and gave tips to upcoming street wear designers. Click here to read the inspiring and informative article.
