Singer/songwriter Mary J. Blige, designer Donna Karen, singer/actress Jill Scott, Jennifer Hudson and Letoya Luckett were among the celebrities that attended the 2nd Annual Mary J. Blige Honors Concert at Hammerstein Ballroom on Sunday (May 1) in New York City.
The Hammerstein Ballroom was filled with men and women all gathering to support Mary J Blige’s charity, FFAWN, helping to fund programs to empower women to reach their full potential. The atmosphere was decorated by designer Donna Karan, whose Urban Zen Foundation also supported FFAWN.

I think Jennifer looks fine. She’s stated that she’s a size 6 on Wendy’s show, and at 5’9 she’s well-proportioned for her height. Any man that wouldn’t be supportive of his woman living and looking healthier has some insecurity issues. David probably thought he had it in the bag that although successful, J-Hud was too overweight for a lot men to be attracted to her. I’m still on the fence about him anyway. He will always seem shady to me since he once competed to win New York’s fame, errr…I mean, heart.

So I didn’t even recognize Jhud- I think it’s great that she’s at a healthy weight, however I don’t think she’s dressing for her new size properly. I think she should get some more fun/flirty clothes with color to show off her body, and update her hairstyle -the long weave ages her IMO.

Is it me or does Jennifer Hudson starting to look like Beyonce? Out of the two Jennifer definately sings better and has more range. But after her weight loss she looks more like Beyonce than herself. You can lose weight but just dont lose yourself or bow down to the pressures of the industries. JILL has lost weight and REALLY looks good but you dont see her walking around with a TON OF HAIR on her head. She’s STILL JILL!!

LeToya looks absolutely beautiful. I feel like her looks are overlooked a lot. I mean, she’s practically the black barbie…look at her! I’m blown away. I a little less makeup would have been cool but overall she looks good as hell.
