Who Run The World Girls is very powerful, ppl tend to overreact without knowing the content itself. I would like lil girls to think Beyoncé taught them that tomorrow they could run the world. It’s that powerful to me, running the world which means you can be whoever you want to be and be the best at it. I thought about my mom with this song, “strong enough to bear the children and make the millions, then get back to business”; “raising a glass for the college grads, girls who are taking over the world, to the men that respect what I do please accept my shine”; “my persuasion can build a nation” this is very powerful thinking about it, think for yourself and beyond the simple words ppl, these are lyrics that are underrated in my opinion. It doesnt matter if you’re as rich or poor, it’s inspiration and talks both to men and women. In my opinion I had always felt that a musician should reincorporate theirselves but at the same time stay original. That is why I am so into the 60s to the 90s music it was more interesting and entertaining and they had fun making great music.
