Singer/dancer Ciara is dating New York Knicks’ very own power forward/center Amar’e Stoudemire. The couple were spotted together at the 2011 Candies Foundation Gala on Tuesday evening (May 3) in New York City.
HipHollywood’s Kevin Frazier had a chance to interview the 25 year-old singer at Monday night’s MET Gala and was able to get her to confirm their relationship status:
“Just interviewed Ciara and she admitted that she and Amar’e are indeed a couple. She was very shy about it and said “you know I don’t talk about my personal life” but when I pushed she shook her head laughed and said yes they are a coouple. She added that this is a very happy time in her life and that she is really enjoying herself! She and Amare were snapped at a party after the Met Gala last night.” [Source]

40 Year-old Patenema Ouedraogo was arrested early Tuesday morning in Florida for allegedly stalking tennis star Serena Williams. Ouedraogo somehow got into the tennis star’s dressing room on the set of the Home Shopping Network this past weekend. He was escorted off the premises but waited outside the building all day.
On Monday night he was put in handcuffs by private security near Serena’s home in Palm Beach Gardens for trying to get on the property.
During the arrest the cops found a letter he wrote to actor/singer/writer Tyrese Gibson, saying,
“If by any means you can help or arrange any meeting with my dream soul mate, I’d like to confess to you that Serena Williams is the one I would do anything to meet and let her know.”
Williams’ attorney, Malcolm Cunningham, has filed an injunction against Ouedraogo after her had previously tried to contact Williams on three different occasions.
