President Barack Obama sat down with CBS’s 60 Minutes in his first interview since the capture of Osama Bin Laden. In the interview the Head of State shared how he and his intelligence prepared for their mission, interesting facts about their discovery of Bin Laden’s compound and why pictures of Bin Ladan haven’t been released:
“We discussed this internally. Keep in mind that we are absolutely certain this was him. We’ve don’t DNA sampling and testing. There is no doubt that we killed Osama Bin Laden. It is important for us to make sure that very graphic photos of somebody who is shot in the head are not floating around as an incitement to additional violence, as a propaganda tool…That’s not who we are. We don’t trot out this stuff as trophies. The fact of the matter is this was somebody who was deserving of the justice that he received. I think Americans and people around the world are glad that he’s gone, but we don’t need to spike the football.”

Well said MR. PRESIDENT, he was a wanted man for killing thousands of human beings and now he’s dead, he’s not important anymore.

I’m in love with President Obama! <3
It`s good not to release photos of Osama , because his face is blown off, it would be too graphic, a Pakistani man who lived near Osama said that he heard 5 shots and the last shot ,which hit Bin Laden in the face, was a big blast, so his face was blown to smithereens !
@Bella Chick
Lmao, oh is that right, so they shot at him 4 times with handguns and the 5th shot must’ve been with a shotgun right, because it was “loud”? Who pulled the trigger on the shotgun, Elmer Fudd? Some of you people are so damn stupid….
Better Building Price’s clients are not alone when under construction. However the following home buyers assumed they would be OK to engage a builder on their own.
What I don’t understand is that they released photos of his sons or whoever else was killed in the house but not him. I’m not giving into conspiracy theories, I truly believe that Bin Laden is dead.
If the photos were released people would start saying they were fake. You can’t win for trying. Anyways, CL, please work on your grammar or hire a new editor. There are several typos in this transcript.
Now I dont get this! I just saw a beyonce post with 81 comments but this post that concern american real issues only gets 18 comments? Thats amazing i can see where everybody head at! Keep up the good work president obama congratulations!
Say it Prez. Obama, tell ‘em don’t spread it! LOL
But in all seriousness, I found it really degrading as an American, to see other fellow American (especially our fellow young adults) spilled into the streets in D.C. (and other cities, I’m sure) chanting and everything. We looked no different than those insurgents of other countries. Only things we were missing: AK 47s and the flag(s) of the offenders homeland! When the Taliban did their thing, I don’t recall the street spillin’; all those people did was send a viral message saying, and I’m paraphrasing, “Yeah we did it, now what?!”
Americans, we have so much to be thankful for and I prayed, right after I heard that Osama Bin Laden was killed. I love my fam and this country. But politically and spiritually, we need to get right.
