I saw the entire performance and thought she did very well. She was stunning and she did sound very much like her recordings. Congrats Rihanna.
- There is one little nit-picky thing and it has to do with the little ones in her live audience. They were quite visible to us at home because the camera panned on at least one little girl and her mother a couple of times. The mother was not nearly excited once the show began. The issue is the suggestive dancing in front of the youngsters and during a timeslot when it is likely little ones will be watching at home.
- I could tell her and her dancers tried to scale it back. For example, the dancers didn’t grab and touch her body as much as I have seen in videos and other shows. But she still gyrated a bit too much and I think some in the audience did as well. Not sure.
- When I saw her incorporate the hand slide to the coochie move, I was a little disappointed because for the early morning crowd/audience she could have left it out. It was too suggestive. You got to know your audience and make adjustments. I give her credit for modifying her routines, just should have been tweaked a little more.
THAT COPY RAT BEYONCE , WAS DOING THE SAME THING FOR THE OPRAH SHOW , AND BEY AND HER dancers DID NOT try to scale it back.
