@ DAFINESTGRL WHy do people keep mentioning that she can sing and dance at the same time like that automatically makes her more talented? For one, she’s not the only one who can do that (her former band mate Kelly is pretty good at it too). Secondly, Beyonce is a good singer, a good dancer, but not neccessarily GREAT in either category. Her performances are anchored by her sexuality and ability to put on a CONSISTENT show with all the right trimmings. However, I could just as easily go watch a youtube video of Whitney Houston in her heyday pick up a mic and sit on a stool with NO DANCING whatsoever and completely blow the crowd away with her INCOMPARABLE VOICE. Just like others don’t sound like Beyonce, Beyonce sure will NEVER sound like Whitney as a vocalist nor dance as well as Janet so I don’t see why she is anymore talented than those who are extrodinary in their particular craft.

That song is the shit!!!! I’m in love with that song!!! Couldn’t stop listening to it since last night on my blackberry!!! I’m not a huge fan of Beyonce, but this is credit where its due for real!! This is what she should be singing- GROWN FOLK MUSIC!!!! So much better than that Run The World track! Also Til’ The End Of Time track I can’t stop listening to it too- the horns, the drums, that whole production of that track is solid, that should’ve been the first single. I’m loving 1+1, very soulful!!!
There is no denying her talent.. Much props to Queen Bey, but in all honesty the song isn’t all that. The lyrics are too basic with no depth. Her voice sounds amazing and it definitely makes the song sound better than it is. This dressing room performance sounds better that the IDOL one. Big Ups to the backgrounds singers…beautifully done!

If that’s the fact, then don’t sign any other female artists. Just have Beyonce. The point is, when you’re truly “great”, no one will forget you. You can go away for 5 years (or more like Maxwell and Sade did) and come back with hits. You’re music should be stronger than your image and when it is, it will last throughout time.
