TLC looked and sounded great. Tboz had major surgery not too long ago and I’m sure the medication she is on is blowing her up because she is a pretty slender person. I wish that they could come back in the game, because the music industry is starving of real talent and real music. But I know these blood sucking, double dealing, low life record companies are so far away from the vision of quality music that it won’t happen.
I just watched a re-run of it and TLC was so random but no complaints. It seemed like they were lip synching though and T-Boz looked pregnant. Lil Jon was extra random.
Lady Gaga is so extra but that “Edge of Glory” song is so catchy, I hate that I like it.

Oh my gosh, are TLC for real? what kind of garbage performance was that. When I heard they were going to perform, I thought it was going to be some new material. Who really wants to hear that old crap. What a sleeper of a performance. Lil Jon did what he could but there was no saving that TLC performance.
TLC was never that great, they are not in the lane of En Vogue or Destiny’s Child, groups where every member can actually deliver a great vocal performance individually and as a whole! Lisa made that group, Tionne is an average singer, remember the BET Awards in 2010, they could barely sing; Chilli was hired as a dancer first and then they recruited her to be in the group, they are very average singer, just saying. I love the song though.
TLC are one of the greatest female groups of all time. When myself and Destinys Child (cause were all 80′s babies) were growing up, TLC and En Vogue were the groups to be. Even if you research Bey’s childhood group “Girlz Tyme” (i know i messed that name up lol)you will see the TLC influence all over their presentation. When TLC was making albums, music and the industry had longevity. Because of that singles like “Waterfalls” and “Scrubs” even their album “Crazy Sexy Cool” is STILL selling…even today. They dont need to make another album or drop a single…ever again.

there is nothing average about TLC or T-Boz! She has a platinum unique low raspy singing voice.Chilli voice is very crisp and smooth.They changed the dynamic of what a girl group was. No group tops TLC…they never broke up. All are beautiful and unique talents.90 percent of artist out now dont compare. their lyrics and music are powerful and easy to listen to. its rare nowadays to hear great music its either no morals or too instrumental. Tlc always had a nice blend thats why they are the number one selling female group of all time. total package group. great stage presence great songs.they have 4 albums with 4 number 1′s hot 100 chart. meaning those songs topped all genres of music on the charts. generated over 400,000,000 for their record label. world wide appeal though they didnt do a lot of overseas touring
TLC is one of the best female groups in the pop and R&B genre. They were unique and came with a whole new favor. They set the tone and broke the mold. Don’t try to discredit their success with your narrow opinions, just because you’re satisfied listening to the that weak, autotuned, no lyrical content garbage they play on the radio today. CLEARLY, Beyoncé with this album doesnt really care about the charts. She has never been so free musically and artistically. I truly respect and admire that she doesnt conceive songs to desperatly fit the charts and didnt follow the dance/techno/dubstep trend or staing strictly contemporary R&B, which is smart btw, now you have the Beyoncé music and the rest of the game who sounds the same. I could care less if she doesnt go number 1 or ppl call her flop, this woman and her talent are special. I’ve been tellin ppl, it’s one thing to have a voice, but you gotta know how to use it, how to sing, the perfect melodies, the vocal control which alloas you to do highs and lows, runs, roars etc… the way she sings, this is how a voice can make somebody cry and this is what Jennifer Hudson & Christina Aguilera miss, they are greater vocalists than Beyoncé but they just stand there and try to have the longest note instead of delivering the right emotion and they both lack vocal control. I love them both but it’s just an observation. Beyoncé can make me cry with her singing and not everyone can pull this off to me. This performance got me wishing I had someone, damn, I’m single! One day I want to live this song. The live version is better than the actual recorded one, but they need to add the guitar at the end, it’s amazing and reminescent of Prince! The background harmonies killed me, I almost teared up with that song. Very emotional. I’m buying that album.

I didn’t like the riffs and “high notes” she was doing…sounded all over the place…I actually couldn’t listen to the entire song because of all that stuff. The song wasn’t good either. I knew this post was going to be talking more about T-boz weight then anything. I think they did a good job considering their ages, and someone said why are they singing those old songs, well duh thats really all they have since Left eyes passing accept “Girl Talk” which I’m sure not to many people are familiar with. Also maybe T-boz gained weight due to medication, remember she does have sickle Cell. GEESH, some people. I’m 40 and i wish I could still cheer and dance like that, they would have had to pick me up off the ground on the first movement, maybe not the 1st movement but definately by the 3rd. LOL~

Lady Gaga- that has to be one of her worst and most boring performances ever. She’s an awful performer anyway and too over the top, but this performance was so empty. Her voice is very generic and that song sounds like gay/lesbian music. Maybe that’s the point.
Beyonce- I can’t stand that 1+1 song. Maybe it’s just my taste but I hate those empty, slow, ballad tracks that have few instruments playing in the song. Why would she perform Crazy in Love? That song is played out and her performance was bland. Her GRTW performance on Oprah and the Billboard Awards were AMAZING! But these performances sucked.
