President Barack Obama put Donald Trump on blast this weekend at the annual White House Correspondent’s Association Gala at the Washington Hilton hotel in Washington, DC. The dinner is known for roasts on the President, but Obama flipped the script and went in on the Donald for her numerous disses about his birth certificate. Peep the must watch video above.
Trump spoke to various news organizations on Sunday morning about the dinner:
Well, I really understood what I was getting into — I didn’t know that I’d be virtually the sole focus. I guess when you’re leading in the polls that sort of thing tends to happen. But I was certainly in a certain way having a good time listening. I don’t think the American people are having a good time with $5 gas. … I was thinking to myself as they were doing this, you know, the American people are really suffering and we’re all” having fun at a gala.
I wouldn’t think [Obama] would address me” during his speech. That was a largely liberal room. I had no idea it would be to that extent, where you know, it was just joke after joke after joke. It was almost like, is there anyone else they could talk about?

I saw the dinner on C-Span, and kudos to President Obama and Seth Meyers for giving him a dose of his own medicine! He’s such an arrogant, self-promotin’ jack ass!

If Trump cared that much about the price of gas and the people suffering because of it, he could used the money he spent “investigating” the Pres. birth certificate (which turned out to be a complete waste of time and money) to give random and deserving low income families pre-paid gas cards so they can get to work and school. That would have given him a favorable image in the public’s eye rather than being the D-list attention whore he’s turned out to be.

Donald thought just because he hasn’t officially said he is running yet, that he just just lob attacks at the President without getting called out. Well sir, you just got called out. Fortunately Obama had the sense to do it in a venue where its all fun and games.

Mr. Donald, why did you take part in the gala if you were so worried about Americans back at home “suffering”? If you were truly concerned about pursuing politics and not about the ratings of Celebrity Apprentice, you would’ve recognized this fact before, rather than after the gala. Also, if you really cared about the “suffering” of American citizens, you would have taken the opportunity to shed light on an issue of substance rather than an issue that was thoroughly checked before President Obama’s nomination. By the way, I didn’t see you in Alabama in the wake of the aftermath of the deadly tornadoes that killed many.

Bin Laden’s death only elevates his position in the radical Muslim world…almost like a super martyr. The news may bring solace to some, but could bring forth a vengance against Americans we’ve yet to witness. I pray that we are ready.
