Inspiring ….and I notice she has her son Egypt name on her necklace she wearing ….Cute
I know, its very pretty! I love it
Alicia is a terrible speaker… This speech was a mess and was all over the place. She should have had someone write it for her. She looks nice though.
Gorgeous woman and it is admirable what she is doing. It is important to bring attention to issues that may affect us all.
Oprah and Alicia Keys inspired me to oneday do work in africa..i may not be able to do it now.. but when i get older I will travel to Africa and hopefully help out over there…they are suffering some of them
Alicia Keys has a great heart for doing this, God is going to continue to bless her.
I am glad she is doing this work. And she looks beautiful.
We also need more people focused on the AIDS epidemic in the US. Among African Americans in DC, for instance, the infection rate is higher than in several West African countries.
In any case, I am glad she is working on this important issue.
I totally absolutely wholeheartedly agree with your entire comment.
The focus on the Aids Epidemic in the US is almost null and void. Think about it. When was the last time you actually saw a commercial giving one’s attention and time of this murderous disease.
SO GLAD ALICIA IS STILL DOING SO MUCH EVEN WITH A CHILD. I LOVE HOW BIG HER HEART IS AND SHE’S VERY PARTICULAR ABOUT WHAT SHE ASSOCIATES HER NAME WITH. SHE’S A GREAT ADVOCATE AND I LOVE TO SEE HER SUPPORTING THE AIDS AWARENESS MOVEMENT EXPECIALLY SINCE THIS DISEASE HAS TRANSFORMED FROM A GAY MAN’S DISEASE TO A BLACK WOMAN’S DISEASE
The speech was first inspiring and really necessary media to call to attention the need for treatment, education, and also empowering women in leadership. Very interesting.
Dont believe her…still dont care for her. Never trust a woman thats a homewrecker. Theyll do nething to fool the public…smh.
LMAO… epitomy of a hater
The above comment might hold weight if this was the first time Alicia did anything like this, but the fact is that she’s been involved in the AIDS fight and other charities since she came out 10 years ago. In fact, nearly every time you see her at public events, it’s for causes like these.
No one can say that she only does this for a show, because a decade into it, and she’s still going strong, and fighting for human rights. She’s a real superwoman, not only respected by her peers in the industry, but by important world leaders and other activists who recognize her as more than just an entertainer. She doesn’t just lend her name, she’s down in the trenches giving her time and attention and being a true voice for people who don’t have one. Truly inspiring.
Exactly!!
Couldnt have expressed it better! NAILED IT!
Kudos to you Alicia, your words were powerful and you are so much more than just a r&b singer. You are a humanitarian
i love this woman

OMG… Just finish watching the whole clip.
Alicia was simply Awesome….she’s smart very articulate compared to slow beyonce. Alicia is doing a great thing for a great cause.
I truly applaud her.
I was going to agree with you until I read the comparison. I mean was it necessary at this point? Alicia is a great woman (awesome) as you said. Yes, she is articulate and very motivational. I applaud her as well. They are two different people, and like us, not all support the same causes.
Eh I dont care for her; but great job I guess. http://tiny.cc/bb13l
did not watch the speech but by looking at these pics of her…she just doesnt look the same to me anymore…she just doesn’t look like the happy A.keys she used to look like…hmmm wonder could there be trouble in la la land
She doesn’t look happy? What an ignorant statement. Aids is a serious issue. It is killing millions of people. Why would she smile the entire time while giving a serious and important message.
Intelligent and beautiful lady
Alicia looks good.
