If you want 18/21 year old Ciara from Goodies/The Evolution to comeback at 25 then something is wrong with you. She is a grown woman and if she had 1/10th the amount of promotion behind her as others she would be in such a better position because the material is actually good. We live in a conformity world. If 10 people say they don’t like something then person 11 will say the same exact thing which is why her rep has changed.
I totally agree with you Sindy…If she had better representation she would have been much further…cuz we all know she can dance better than “B” and her voice is similar to Janets…so I don’t see why she hasn’t gone further in her career…God knows J-lo has successful albums and if she can have albums Ciara certainly can.
I hate it when people blame a singer’s failure on the label’s “promoters.” Consumers are the actual promoters because like you said Sindy, once someone says it’s wack everyone will feed off of that. Her first two albums were dope, but her last two were horrible. Every artist has a steady following and she has been losing hers over the years because she’s just not good enough anymore. Her vocal ability and lyrics are lacking that umph. Yes she can dance, but you have to remember she’s a singer first.
