He was on point with everything. I can not believe they let Cello totally mess up Patti’s tribute. He came out with a wig on spraying hair spray on it. WTF. I’m sorry but I didn’t find that funny at all. Not to mention, his vocals were terrible. Patti should have been serenaded by strong singers like Alicia Keys, Fantasia, Kesha Cole, Monica, and the list goes on and on. There is a pletera of great female artists out there who have obviously been inspired by Patti, but BET decides to choose this fat clown!!? Don’t get me wrong I like Cello but he was not suited for this. I was so disgusted by all of these so called rapers coming out with all there butts and dirty boxers handing out, no shirts, looking like what society thinks they are, Monkeys!! These BOYS are influencing our youth with this ridiculous style. When is sagging going to die!!? Even Rick Ross had the nerve to show his man breast. He had some valid points. But he looked a mess. Lol. I think I would have appreciated it better and actually laughed if he did more than a wig and wasn’t so over the top with some of his words. Plus his voice could have been better.
And Beyonce is a joke. If she wasn’t going to show up she shouldn’t have been apart of the show and to close with that? I’m mad at BET for that mess. And it was some mess. Everyone waited around for some mess.
Sad to say even though this year was better, it still sucked. Even more sad to say that BET will never be to MTV standards and it makes me cringe to think that they need some ‘white folk’ over there to help them run a tight ship.
