Soul-singer Jill Scott is taking her new attitude, new look and music on the road. The 39 year-old actress will be headlining her own 16-date tour across the U.S. of A to promote her upcoming album Light Of The Sun, which is set to debut later this month (June 28). Among those to join her tour are Anthony Hamilton, Mint Condition, DJ Jazzy Jeff and Doug E. Fresh.

Speaking of June 17th, R&B singer Maxwell will also be on the next episode of VH1′s Storytellers. The 38 year-old musical perfectionist recently performed for an intimate audience and hasn’t been out and about lately due to him working on his upcoming album blackSUMMERS’night, the second installment following his fourth studio album BLACKsummers’night.
