The track, “Party,” co-produced by Kanye West and Consequence, is lifted from Bey’s fourthcoming senior studio album, 4, which is slated to hit stores and online June 28th in the United States.

WTH I was just on Toyazworld and she has another leak from Bey’s new album. This time it’s for the song called “countdown” I’m at work and cant hear either but I have decided to wait until the album and just read the comments. I want to be excited when I listen to the whole album on 6/28/11 but what the hell is up with all her music leaking like this. I was reading on Twitter that her entire album has leaked. This is SO not good and leaving me to wonder what exactly the deal is. I love me some Beyone so I will be supporting her either way but this is a shame all her stuff is getting out…….SMH

Most pop artists these days have numerous tracks released weeks leading to the album. I suspect its a mixture of some self leaking to test them on the public, and some probably being illegally released. Either way the ones they don’t want you to hear yet are taken down.
This is trash. There is no excuse. You might want to call this trash innovative or an epic attempt to revive 80-90′s music. But, call it what it is. TRASH. Andre 3000 stood out. Beyonce is better than this and much more capable.

That’s not true. I didn’t pre-order the album and I was able to download it on itunes. Bey’s camp is trying to make it seem like 1+1 wasn’t a single, yet it was the song that she promoted – via Jay-z uploading an accapella performance – and she sung it on AI. Oh, and did I mention it was available for puchase on itunes w/ out pre-ordering it? The fact is, none of Beyonce’s songs have cracked the top 10 charts, if she’s not worried, she should be. All these released songs keep getting worse and worse. I could deal w/ “Girls”, the video was pretty dope, but “1+1″ was juvenile and lukewarm. But, the WORST, song to date has to be that “Best I never had”, omg smh…

I’m with you, the songs I have heard so far have all horrible apart from ‘End of Time’ and Countdown. 1+1 is horrible I couldn’t take it seriously when she sang “I don’t know much about ALGEBUH” lmao I can’t! Hopefully the rest of the album is good cos I’m so disappointed with Beyonce right now, she should be churning out amazing tracks.
1+1 still wasn’t an official single. And yes you could buy it as a single on itunes, but when if you pre-ordered the album it, it was free, you got the single free. But just because a single is available on Itunes, doesn’t make it an official
single. She sent RTW and Best Thing I Never Had to radio, those are her 2 official singles. And I would wait before you call Best Thing a flop. Its getting quite a bit of airplay..
Regardless if it was a single or not, she recorded it with the intention of passing it off as one.
I have to say- I’m surprised Yeezy and Consequence (even though I know him as a rapper not a producer) produced this. The beat sounds kind of low budget. I would’ve expected something ill from those two. And then there’s the lyrics…don’t know who wrote it but the lyrics were pretty corny, even for party music standards. Beyonce does at least sound good. But overall, I can’t see this song doing very well or having an interesting video. Dare I say it, it sounds like a Destiny’s Child demo circa 1997. And even back in 1997, there were other songs that would have massacred it.

This album has complex melodies, structured chords, strong R&B feel. This is the album I have been waiting for. I will be buying this. This album has a completely different sound. I listened to “I’d rather die young” and it just has this “organic” rnb feel to it with an fusion of rock. Nothing pop about that song. Honestly I don’t know what people expect to hear when they listen to her, but these songs are musically on point. You can hear all her musical influences come through, with strong vocals and instrumentals. If you don’t like the songs coming out, it might just not be your style of music. But I have been waiting for her to come back to this rnb side and this is it!! I see these songs getting alot of play on urban stations and older urban stations.
