Singer/actress Brandy Norwood was spotted outside the Trousdale bar in Hollywood on Friday night (June 17).
In related news, Brandy will be starring in the last three episodes of the newest season of the Lifetime’s television series Drop Dead Diva. She will be playing a nurse named Elisa who has a romantic history with one of the show’s characters.
Former Pussycat Doll Melody Thornton is finally on her way to releasing solo a solo album.
Since splitting from the Dolls, Melody has been working on solo material in Los Angeles, California with the likes of Polow Da Don, Cee-Lo Green, Dre & Vidal and more for a slightly retro sound. Check out her first single, “Sweet Vendetta,” that was just made available on iTunes this weekend.
The last time we heard from Melody was when her version of Cee-Lo Green and Lauren Bennett’s track “Love Gun” leaked. But with this single out, could we possible be seeing this album drop sometime this year?

Wynter is gearing currently up to release her debut album, With the Music I Die, on which she wrote all the material. She collaborated with producers such as David Guetta and Jupiter Ace for the project, giving it an organic, dance sound.
With the Music I Die will hit stores in the United States market on June 28th.
