PHOTOS: VITA COCO REVEALS RIHANNA SUMMER ADS

Vita Coco have now released the photos from Rihanna’s new Vito Coco campaign. The pop star is now national spokesperson for their new Summer advertising campaign.

The 23 year-old had this to say about the popular brand:

I love Vita Coco! It’s real coconut water from hand-picked coconuts. It’s delicious and so good for you!

Superstar Madonna who happens to be one of the investors in Vita Coco had this to say about Riri.

Rihanna is a natural fit for the Vita Coco brand and I’m so happy to have her on the team.

VIDEO: PROMO CLIP FROM MTV’S BEYONCE’S “YEAR OF 4” SPECIAL

MTV is set premiere Beyoncé’s half-hour television special entitled “Beyoncé: Year of 4.” The special is premiering on Thursday, June 30th at 7pm EST and takes viewers on a journey through the artistic process of her latest album, 4.

Here is a little write up about the feature provided by MTV

“Beyoncé: Year of 4″ is the story of Beyoncé’s return as an independent woman navigating her company through the rough waters of the music industry, making a personal album that’s unlike anything she’s ever done. After the much anticipated “I AM…” tour ends, Beyoncé finds herself in dire need of a break. Being a workaholic, and wholly dedicated to her career, she never considered taking a year off, but finally listens to her mother’s advice and disappears from the public’s eye. On her year off, Beyoncé travels the world, spends time with her family and husband, Jay-Z (documented by her with her own camera). SPOTTED: KELLY ROWLAND LOOKING STUNNING AT NEW X-FACTOR AUDITIONS

Singer Kelly Rowland is pictured heading to the X Factor auditions on Wednesday (June 29) in Cardiff, UK. She looks great in these pictures!!

Her upcoming album, Here I Am, is slated to hit stores on July 26th. She needs to hurry up and make a video for ‘Lay It On Me”.

MUSIC NEWS: J.COLE REPLACES CEE-LO / J. SCOTT’S ‘LIGHT OF THE SUN’ #1 / A. KEYS TO CO-PRODUCE PLAY

After eclectic singer-songwriter Cee-Lo announced that he will be stepping down from Rihanna’s Loud tour, the pop starlett announced that North Carolina-native J. Cole as the official opener for her international tour:

Rihanna announced via Twitter that rapper J. Cole, who was already on the road with the singer, will fill Green’s shoes as her main warm-up act on the tour, which began this month. “#GOODNEWS @JColeNC is our new official opener!” she wrote on Tuesday night. “@CeeLoGreen will no longer be a part of #LOUDtour due 2 commitment with ‘The Voice’ #Cantmissit.” [Source]

Rihanna’s tour ends its US leg in the States on July 24, then makes its way overseas until the end of this year. Talk about heavy touring! Congrats to J. Cole!

JILL SCOTT’S ‘LIGHT OF THE SUN’ SOARS TO THE #1 SPOT

Following the release of her latest album, R&B singer Jill Scott‘s album, The Light of the Sun, has officially landed the #1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart. According to Nielsen SoundScan, she has racked up a total of 135,000 units in first week sales. This is Jill’s fourth studio album to date.

You can catch the Grammy award winning singer as she hits the stage at this year’s annual Essence Music Festival at the Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. Congrats to her! [Source]
