NEW MUSIC: SYLEENA JOHNSON – “A BOSS”

Grammy nominated soul singer/songwriter, model and actress Syleena Johnson is in the, studio working on a new CD entitled Chapter V: Underrated. Check out the brand new single, “A Boss.”

In addition to giving us a new album, Syleena is also shooting a reality show pilot titled R&B Housewives with Faith Evans, Nicci Gilbert of Brownstone, Keke Wyatt, Angie Stone, Kelly Price, Tweet and Lelee Lyons of SWV. The show is co-produced by Faith Evans and Nicci Gilbert of Brownstone, while being executive produced by James DuBose.

Chapter V will hit shelves September 27th, via Shanachie Entertainment.>

‘ROUND THE WAY: JOSS STONE TARGETED IN MURDER PLOT

According to reports, two men have been arrested under the suspicion that they were planning to rob and murder British soul singer, Joss Stone:

The men, aged 33 and 30, were arrested after a suspicious vehicle was seen in the Cullompton area on Monday. A police source said they were found with swords, plans of the singer’s home and a body bag, BBC South West Home Affairs Correspondent Simon Hall said. The men were initially arrested for possession of offensive weapons and being equipped to steal. [SOURCE]

In related news, Stone was recently named the fifth wealthiest British and Irish pop star aged under 30. Since the arrests, the metal gates of Miss Stone’s house have been boarded up. The 24 year-old singer is aware of the arrests and has said that she is “absolutely fine”.
