After 6 games and 4 wins, the Dallas Mavericks defeated the Miami Heat, winning their first NBA Championship and taking home their first trophy and ring. The unfortunate part is that many die hard Miami Heat fans and supporters lost a grip of money from bets made as far as the beginning of the season.
One celebrity that had to pay up last night is rapper Birdman. About two weeks ago, he tweeted about supposedly betting $2 million dollars in favor of the Heat:
Well he definitely ate his words. What I want to know is who did he place this bet with? Clearly they’ve got money to be dishing out like that. But $2M?!? Personally, I’d maybe bet $20…Just maybe. LOL Must be nice to be recession proof!
